Hard to sum up this wolves team, great fight back after being 2 down could of snatched it at the end, penos missed were poor, thing that grates me most tho is why our players lining up at the end to embrace nuno ok he's always going to be a hero for wolves but he's an enemy in the battle!

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end?! If they'd done it before ko I'd completely agree but once the game is finished it's finished, no?! Not sure what the issue is to be honest?

Well I hope I don't have to get used to that, awful, better, very good, all in the same game, talk about roller coaster ride.
Emotions all over the shop.

I mean we talk about what team turns up, well that was all teams. the good the bad and the ugly to coin a phrase not necessarily in the right order.

Difficult to sum up. please a little stability maybe?

Once it went to pens, not many would have predicted a favourable outcome I suspect.

At the moment somewhat like the performance my thoughts are too many and a bit scattered.

Stability. is missing.

Again I think we are on the wrong side of the rub, we were starting ok then our plan (? ) Is disrupted by mosquiro injury. Coady and boly, whilst finding position, muck up and we're 1 down. The subsequent confidence drop before getting back into it and being denied what surely was a penalty. Dendonkers superb header then getting us back in it. Traores introduction showed how much we need his attacking presence and strength with us again being denied a penalty shout and opposition players getting away with yellow card offences. Hwang dendonker and pods showed how we can apply ourselves for the equaliser. Admittedly Ruddy saved us twice quite literally but we so nearly nicked it at the end. The missed/ saved penalties, neves in particular, were the difference and I would have thought Spurs should be equally worried about their performance (if not more so) as we are. There was a lot to take out and learn from last night, but I'm looking through the rose tinted specs today and think it will slowly turn around. The ref situation needs to be addressed with some serious analysis. We can't be the only team to encounter dubious decisions when playing the rich city teams.

I suspect the Spurs keeper was well briefed by Nuno about what our players would do if it came to penalties.

It’s great to see the positive outlook from most of you guys however, the last 4 years and the PR by Fosun has increased the expectations from supporters and the press particularly the comments about competition with the big 6 after those two 7th place finishes.
There is no doubt after sliding to 13th then sacking ( by mutual consent) Nuno Fosun increased the expectations further and it was once again a relatively unknown to premier league who ended up in the Job.
It’s all very well showing belief and hope that things will improve but we must surely all agree that after accepting the first three defeats the last three have been disappointing even with the win?
Hope that there will be three teams worse than Wolves being used as a positive is surely desperation?
The truth is that we were bad during last season in comparison but these few games this season alongside the expectations are proving a real test.
Defending is a shambles and despite creating chance after chance we can’t convert them!
Brentford was a disgrace of a game but professional players should be able to cope with those tactics.
And the penalty misses! Well!
I do hope things are sorted quickly because it is very disappointing and with the expectations created by the owners I don’t think fans nor owners will be able to stay positive for long. Remember Lage was sacked after numerous defeats previously can Wolves afford to wait?
I ended up shouting at the TV on Wednesday because of the diabolical first half!
The men with white coats will be paying me a visit if it continues in that vein.

Well ExRef, how well you have summed up our early season. Lage has provided an attacking style so far without sufficient goals scored. Very simply, goals scored will bring confidence for team and supporters. Losing Mosquera so soon against Spurs was cruel for our changed defence. COYW.
