I am happy for him he has found his level at last.

Watched abit of u23 3-2 over Exeter last night, there's a lot of promise in those lads. Cundle firkin conner for example, great vision and skills. The futures bright.

3 in 3 when you include his appreance for us! Our top goal scorer then! Really hope he comes back in Jan fully firing and ready to bring something to the team ?.

Abbey - the Future is old Gold! (remember the ad! )

I think the same as bullysboy fingers crossed MGW carries on consistently as he has started for Sheffield United. ?.

Very true tfig. How could I have overlooked that? But it's the old gold they'll be wearing I hope.
I hope things are looking brighter for you too tfig. It's been a trying time I know but I hope the problems are easing .

I’m glad to see mgw getting some game time, doubt he would have had as much with us. If he had stayed fit the season he was with Swansea I think things would be different. Best thing for him IMO, get a full season at a lower level to gain confidence.

Abbey - many many tks. Driving down to mums again on Friday and next Tuesday but otherwise keeping busy which is great. My walking business is exploding doing 3 this week including some American tourists flying in for a holiday this weekend and who had heard of me via friends of someone in England who did the walk with me a month or so ago!
Having said that after buying lunch and sharing a few pints with the guys I walked with on Wednesday I was all of £20 up for the whole day but it great fun and certainly a relief from caring for my son, (which I know sounds awful but it is very intense), which I was doing on Mon and Tuesday.
Re Footie and taking Oxley's point maybe MGW will come back and be the extra CM we need in Jan?

Tfig I know how these things are, I don't know if you saw my post to you from a while ago but I and went through a period when I tried to manage it all and found myself reliant on alcohol, I'm out of it now and teetotal but it nearly killed me. Please don't over do it or be too proud to ask for help. It's not failing its being sensible. I've just had 3rd jab due to other conditions, very quick I know but the surgery had pfeiser they needed to use fast. Last year watching wolves on every media I could kept me going and I hope it brings some relief to you too. Back to MGW, I was baffled when they let him go on loan but can now see how he'll benefit us because of it. We've been looking the threat and now it's down to putting it in the net. Hwang looks the poacher in the box we've been missing and if jiminez traore trincao can find form well be flying. Looking forward to Brentford and the next adventure. Take care tfig and COYW.

Really appreciate Abbey and you don't have to worry about me and drink as I have never been any more than a social drinker - in fact I sneaked in a pint of tap water with the lads I was walking with on Wednesday at lunch time rather than trying to match them.

I am also incredibly lucky to have an amazing wife who helps, (no more than helps), to carry the load - 40th anniversary next year!

Really hopeful on MGW and whilst v early days on Hwang and even Trincao early signs are promising.

The big one obviously is getting Jimenez back to full fitness/ form if he does hit his previous heights you are right we will be fine. If Neto also returns to his best in the New Year well we will have an enviable problem as to who to pick!

Once again though many tks for your thoughts!

Spot on analysis as always TFG and it's nice to hear how you share the load buddy ? I'd never let her hear me say it but there's a reason we call our wives the 'BETTER halves'! ☺️
As for MGW as I've said before I think it's telling that Lage went public saying he didn't want him to go. Clearly the player pushed for the move (I suspect as a condition of signing the new deal) and I like the Lage still wants to try and make sure he knows that he's wanted! I've said a lot on here regarding our transfer policy recently (not always kind, sozzles:) but one thing I will say is that I hope we stick with the youth focused approach. I think it will play to Lages strengths and with just few potiential stars I think the guy could work miracles cough (we still haven't really seen Fabio yet this season:) cough! Same again tomoz and I'll be a happy Wanderer, c'mon the pack let's all FINALLY lace those shooting boots up! COYWS ??.
