Rated RKO, hopefully your right. The average fan can no longer afford to go to matches anymore. I remember in 1989, as a 12 year old, me and my 2 friends went to a League Cup game. We paid (for the 3 of us), £9 for entry, a programme each and food. Nowadays it costs me £100 for me and my 16 year old son just to go to the game.
I've just very quickly worked out Salahs wage demands v crowd income at Anfield.
Average home fans = 50k
Average ticket price £30 pp
Income per league game: £1.5m
Over the season, home PL receipts = £28.5m
Salah wage demands = £500k pw = £26m per annum.
This means that basically Salah will have all the PL games gate receipts.
