My take on the transfer window is fairly philosophical. We kept our two star players. We signed good players but not enough of them. Had Neves or Traore sold I think we would have spent the proceeds, but would it be worth spending the family silver? We've played very, very well against three top teams so far, and could easily have several points on the board. We have enough class to be mid-table come the January window.

Fair comment Deep.

Agree Dt, mid table at best unfortunately, with current squad
Which of course won't be good enough
For fosun,
I'm sure next transfer window will be same, names linked and no one comes in (that's good enough)

Can't argue with that Deep Throat.

I don’t agree with Fosun leaving Bruno with a small squad as we all know a few injuries to key players could put us in trouble they should of backed him and give him the tools to do the job.

When the musical chairs stopped on Tuesday we were left short. Bear in mind that at least one of our targets refused to join Wolves. Sancho was injured, possibly for several weeks. Bruno is good enough to achieve something very decent with the squad we have, and Neto and Jonny will be back at some point. There are always possibilities with free agents if the situation warrants it. If we had sold the family silver in Neves and Traore, I doubt if we could have replaced them with similar quality. Bruno has a great chance to show what he can do, and to identify the signings needed in January.

I notice bolla is starting for Hungary tonight, given our player situation I can't see the sense in players being loaned to grasshoppers,
We never seem to hear of them again.

Pedrowolf, You just beat me to it! Bolla good enough to represent Hungary vs England but not good enough for Wolves in Premier League so goes on loan to Grasshoppers.

This is not based on football but finanace, has the club become a Mendes/ Fosun loan agency in order to make/ defray monetary considerations. None of this makes sense except for pulling money in.

Is this what Wolves being financially self sufficient means, - never mind competing on the field providing the loan fees keep flowing?

I agree we can’t sell neves and traore we are crying out for a centre midfielder though at the very least as much as a love moutinho he’s now a yard to slow I’ve backed dendoncker more than anyone but he goes missing and doesn’t win the ball enough neves has really stepped up the last 3 games.

Regarding Bolla, Hungary lost 4-0 and could have been 8, now I’m not blaming our player for this result and am proud one of ours represents there country but just because he duz don’t make him ready for us at the moment in the toughest league of all, hopefully one day he is ill be.

Take your point wolveswinorlose but we have only 18 outfield players at the club if we had 24 or 25 no problem, but we are pretty thin on the ground,
And Campana is on the bench for Ecuador aswell.

On a similar point our late transfer targets can't of been our first choices, it all looked a bit desperate which again made things harder. But on the bright side we did hold on to our best players.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why Shabani and Campana aren't being given a fair crack of the whip at first team level. I'd heard great references?
Shabani especially. I watched him with the Under 23's and you can see why Bayern Munich were reluctant to sell.

Shabani is a cracking player. I know he had that injury setback but surely he should be given a chance?
