I'm very confident that some fears off the squad being light and after reading a few articles on Bruno and what I can gather we are working hard on bringing 3/ 4 players to wolves and the recruitment team and Bruno and Jeff speak on a daily basis no clue on positions we are going for but only time will tell I'm hoping for a cb and cm and striker.

I’m impressed by Bruno to date: appears to be very pragmatic and honest. Departing players have thanked us for what we have done to get them their moves, which is a positive. Bruno obviously wants commitment to the cause above all else. one can’t underestimate the role Coady plays in creating that togetherness, sometimes there are elements about a player that are equally important as their on-field performance. Love Coady to bits and appreciate his contribution to our club. I really hope Bruno will appreciate his strengths and work on his weaknesses. Nobody can ask for more from a coach.
No logic to my next point BUT I just have this gut feeling that Traore is really going to step up to the plate on Sunday and produce a match winning performance akin to the Man City game!

Hope you're right Wolfthistle. Tail end of last season and last Saturday, Traore has been knocking on that door. Tomorrow could be the big breakthrough with goals.

According to a number of pundits they fear for Wolves this season and so do I, without doubt the squad is not strong enough or deep enough. Neto and Jonny out until next year and can not be expected to come back and get us out of a relegation battle. We need 4 or 5 experienced players now so we can at least fill our bench and have good options to bring on to be able to change games. Why are we not trying to get players like Lingard Niles or loan players from the big clubs or do Fosun believe that Lage is a miracle worker an keep us in the prem with a bunch of youngsters.

Pundits!? Like Lawro’s euro 2020 predictions. So funny that he’s the one who’s supposed to be good at predicting scores and he was the worst of all the pundits. We definitely need reinforcements but no need to panic about relegation IMO. Should be a good game tomorrow, I expect Spurs to respond after there European exploits but hopefully it’s affected them negatively.

There's nothing to say certain players haven't been approached but aren't keen on a move to Wolves. All the transfer activity is always done on the quite and we might not know who we're getting until they sign. Trincao being an example of that this season.

There will be some money available from not taking up options on Jose and Vitinha, plus there are loan to buy options for this season that can still be explored. Some clubs may prefer a permanent sale of some players but settle for loan to buy when the window is closer to shutting to get players off wage bills depending on the structure of the deals.

A few reinforcements would be nice, but there are a few teams already who seem weaker to me. Palace and Southampton look like they could be in for long seasons. Hopefully a change in training and the team tactics will help get some more goals.

I think with the squad as it is we can finish 12th. A few realistic additions and we could get up to 8th.

I'd put Palace, Burnley, Southampton, Norwich and Newcastle below us come crunch time. I might even include Arsenal, Watford and Brentford.

Bruno knows the problems, he says he's told the board the requirements. I thought before we'd need 40m, and mir with otawasie have brought about 15m. I'm still worried we'll have to sacrifice traore or neves to raise the rest. Who we bring in of course who knows?, we've been linked with almost everyone. I think Semedo from olympiakos maybe one (subject to clearance) as he and Sa are already known to each other. If neves goes then palino (excuse spelling) would be favoured by me. That leaves us needing a front man. An interesting week ahead. Tomorrow, with emotions high and a packed mol I can see traore doing something special with raul also celebrating. I'm going against my earlier thinking and going for a 3-2 wolves win. I hope so. It'd give all of us the hope and unity the pack needs. COYW.
