I reckon it'll be 343 as that's what we've played in the friendlies since we returned from the Spanish camp. The problem we have is balance with no fit naturally right footers in the backline other than Coady, and he is going to play centrally to organise.
This doesn't solve the balance issue, but no one has mentioned Marcal in the back 3. Yes, he's played wingback for all his brief time here, but he has played on the left side of a back 3 many times in the past, and I recall he did so against Man City in the Champions League the season before we signed him. He's more of a natural defender than say Saiss, who let's not forget is a converted midfielder.
I can see the front 3 being Traore, Jiminez and Trincao, but the midfield will be interesting as I think Dendonckers engine will be needed, probably above Moutinho's know-how.

Guessing really but my call 343 against Leicester and Spurs moving to 442 if we need to chase the games late on, with a 442 starting line up given a try against Forest in the League cup.

Jas, I would prefer Kilman in Saiss's place. Podence, if fit, I would pick over Silva, at least for 60 minutes. Better to start Podence to test his fitness and match sharpness.

I honestly forgot about Donk when I posted this. Agree he should start to be given more starting minutes over Moutinho, who wouldn't have more than 1-2 years left.
Kilman deserves more opportunities this season.
Trincao could take set pieces?
Also if Rafa Mir deal falls through, could be like the new striker everyone has been asking for. But would need some training to mesh more with the group.

Rafa Mir will be gone. He doesn’t want to be in England and we are just trying to get more money from Athletico. Surely they have players we could take in part exchange.

E from W, does your negativity know no bounds? Who will take the corners! I don't know but let's be honest, Moutinho wasn't the best at them last season so why not Neves. Have you seen him take corners to know he isn't that good? Or how about Trincao, Ait Nouri or Semedo.
If everything went well and we won all 38 league games winning the title you'd probably complain that the grass at Molineux was the wrong shade of green.

Nah, can't have that as the team because at least one of the players will have a boot lace that 0.25cm too long meaning that Fosun have allowed our club to go to wrack and ruin and proving they've lost interest.
