Hi, i'm going to give this site another go. I came off it some time ago as keyboard warriors jumped down your throat for having and opinion!
Anyway, does anyone else feel that we are going to do late business? Surely it is obvious for all to see that we need defensive and midfield reinforcements for the first team.
It looks like Cutrone is being given another chance rather than putting money into the front line of which I hope it works, as I think that there is a player their for sure. Nuno's style didn't really suit him in my opinion as he was always looking for balls either played over into space or to beat the last man playing on his shoulder. Hopefully Lage's style can help him?
Tough 3 opening games to come and hopefully we can do some late business as we are going to need it.

Welcome back PadWolf. Nobody should jump down anyone's throat. We have done some early business of course. We haven't lost Traore or Neves (yet) . If we lose either one of these I expect we will bring in maybe 3 players in the window. If we don't I think we will sign 1/ 2 players as we have agreed a sale of Mir. Cutrone was never trusted enough by Nuno. If anyone can get the best out of him it will be Bruno. If Cutrone can deliver, it will be like a new signing. Reasons for cautious optimism? My forecast for the season is maybe 10th spot.

Welcome back Padwolf, sorry to hear you were jumped on. Sometimes passion breeds intolerance, but good to have different opinions, as that should encourage reflection on one's own opinions. I am crossing everything for late deals in those 2 areas, then I believe with returning players from injury we have a squad with potential.

Hello padwolf, its obvious to all what we need player wise but will we get anyone experienced in the roles is the big question. Rumours abound and financial restraints seem the main problem. We won't have anyone new for Leicester and the big worry for me is who we may offload to bring new faces in. The window ends at end of month and I think things might intensify before then. I'm glad the clubs with big money seem to have spent so neves traore etc might remain in the pack, although spurs, if they benefit from kanes sale could haunt us. Silly situation to be in at the start of a season .

Hi padwolf I know what you mean and we all have a right to our own opinion
Yes I honestly think we will address those positions by the end of the transfer window closes we are desperate for signings in defence and a creative midfielder not too worried up front with Raul silva traore wish we could have given Rafa Mir a better chance I'm sure he's going to be massive in his career not sure about cutrone what he wants if he's home sick or what but if Bruno is willing to give him another chance to show us he can do a job for us then he should give out and impress us and it will only help him to get his move if he still wants to leave from other clubs.
Tough three games to start and we don't know what to expect but I don't think it will be as bad as people think
Hopefully those signings will come enjoy the season COYW🧡🖤🐺.

Hi PadWolf, I just ignore those who come on here to slate others opinions.
The signings we have made so far are pretty sound and it may be that Lage has instructions to start to use some of the youngsters we have bought over the past few years, Marques, Otasowie etc. etc. so it may be that we don’t invest very much more in this transfer window.
If those youngsters don’t cut the mustard then I would expect further transfer activity in the next window, coming and going.
Time for MGW and Kilman to come up to the mark.

Padwolf welcome back mate I agree with everything you've said, I do think we'll see a flurry of 2 or 3 players in the next 3 weeks maybe 2 being loans with option to buy.

Thanks All. I`m humbled! I left well over a year ago, the site was getting silly with other fans pretending to be WWFC fans etc. seems a lot better now.
Agreed Cutrone would be like a new signing and the Wolves fans genuinely
On a separate note. have you seen the Prem Rule changes?
- Offside to be measured from the bottom of the armpit.
- Accidental handball in build up to goal will not be punished.
- Thicker VAR lines to reduce offside decisions.
- No penalties for slight contact in the box.

I did see the new VAR rules PadWolf. As we suffered disproportionally last season, this is good news for us. The top 4 did tend to get the benefit of doubt last season, hopefully no more.

Lupinehowler : you can count the number of years since the takeover on one hand and if you count the number of successful signings it’s very similar (5) and four of them have been sold, Nuno didn’t rate the players for the future that have been signed so never gave them a chance and he’s possibly a better judge than we all think we are, you have to sign players who are ready now just to survive in the Prem, the League’s not going to stand still while Wolves try to develop their players for the future, on the plus side one or two of them might make the grade back in the Championship.
