If money's right sell Adama, obviously not going to sign new deal I've always thought if players don't want to be at the club then get rid no matter how good, seen a few things on coady in talks with Spurs now you think that's just lazy journalists? Inevitable most our players will be linked to them now nunos there.

Maxy-you have a point but the worrying aspect of the pre season, is that the only creativity we have mustered has come from Traore.

Maxy, personally I wished they had sold Traore and kept Jota, mainly because Nuno had to disrupt the team to fit him in.

However, right now I think SQ has a point, he's been on fire since joining pre season. However, will he prove to be consistent moving forward? probably not, so if £45M was forthcoming, take it.

But you know what would happen if that did happen LongmyndWolf. If Traore went to say Liverpool or Spurs for £45m and had a good season, the very fans who said he should be sold would come on this forum and slate the management and ask why he was sold.

No I wouldn’t.

I know Jas I hate us selling to our competition, spitting feathers over Jota to Liverpool, much rather they go abroad.

However, as much as Traore has his moments does he contribute consistently over the season? As a starter probably not but as an impact sub probably yes.

I suppose it will be down to Lage and the Clubs willingness to up their contract offer and Traore's willingness to sign it. If £45M was offered I'd be surprised if the club turned it down though.

I really do have my doubts about this Tottenham link. I think one of the reasons Traore didn't sign the new contract was because when Nuno tried to change the formation, he was the player who was going to be sacrificed as Neto and Podence were preferred. This made Traore doubt his role at the club but this wasn't an issue because he still had 2.5 years left on his contract. Eventually Nuno has stuck predominantly with the 3/ 5 at the back.

Jimenez getting injured didn't help either as the 2 of them have a brilliant understanding of each others game and compliment each other.

If the reason Adama refused to sign his new contract was Nuno, why would he want to join him now?

Good point Jas, you're probably right. Let's face it if all the click bait was true we would be starting the season with a 4 man squad or a 40 man squad, take your pick.

Wolves are very good at keeping quiet on transfers, as evidenced by the Mosquera and Trincao signings.

Probably best that we all forget about it until it happens.
