Rumours flying around on twitter and few reports we are rivaling Everton for Joaquin Correa.
For me he would be perfect second striker behind Raul. Brilliant player coming off a great season.
The Joao Felix role makes a lot of sense for Lageball
Adama to Liverpool will more than likely involve them trying to chuck players into the deal. I don't want to loose him at all. Like the look of Harvey Elliot though.

Personally I'd rather we kept Traore. I just think Lage will give him a bit more freedom and he'll show us what he can do. I think he was restricted by the tactics last season after Raul got injured.
The Correa rumour has been flying around since last week and doesn't seem to be moving forward. That may due to the player still being on holiday after the Copa America.

We had two great seasons and one pretty average all be it in strange circumstances, lost one of our star players to the League Champions no less then managed to gift our Head Coach to a top six Club. As yet we haven’t strengthened from last season when only seven teams finished below us, this season is a new start and will be all about survival, the team needs two or three players with Premier League experience before the season starts and that’s if we don’t sell any more, we can’t rely on a few more youngsters coming in from abroad who may or may not be up to the task. The Premier League doesn’t stand still, it doesn’t allow Clubs to “do it on the cheapâ€, it doesn’t give you time to bring players in “for the future†without having some for the “here and nowâ€, this seasons going rate for average Premiership players is between forty and fifty million, if you don’t compete, if it’s too rich for you, then you become a West Brom, a Blues or a Stoke, they all thought they could keep “getting away with itâ€.

Agree wholeheartedly oxley, I'm hoping that once neves traore moutininho etc are resolved we'll be bringing in experience. I'm not expecting a winning start from us, but I'm hoping it'll come together and with it a top 10 finish.

I hope you're wrong Ron but I fear you may well be right. We seem to be selling the spine of our team, if rumours are to be believed, and with the exception of Patricio, all to our rivals. Doherty to Spurs, Jota to Liverpool and now rumours of Neves to Man U, plus of course the most recent one, Traore to Liverpool.
The concern is, if this all happens, who replaces them and more importantly will they be better players with Premiership experience, the latter being the more doubtful.

Why are you focusing on what might be. Neves and Traore are still Wolves players last time I checked.
OK, Patricio has been sold but he's been replaced with a younger keeper with experience. Has anyone else been sold yet? But conveniently the signings of Mosquera and Trincao have slipped your mind.
If other clubs were signing players then yes, I would question what the club were doing but the fact is not many clubs are doing so.

I tend to agree with the later posts and am trying to console myself with the fact that hopefully Raul and Jonny Castro Otto will be upgrades on last season when back. Hopefully we won't lose anyone else. However the reality seems to be that maybe (for whatever reason) we aren't able to sign experienced players in the mould of Rui Patricio and Joao Moutinho on a regular basis and at an affordable price.

I find it hard to believe Otto will come back the same player if at all.
We are all banking on Raul being as good as before he got injured.
What if he's not?
Where will the goals come from then?
If cutrone and mir are being sold we need two strikers to replace them with proven experience.
I don't think we can wing it this season.
