With the shock of what's happened I wonder if I'm overthinking but during the week all of a sudden Lampard wasn't interested in the Palace job. Whilst I'd like him I assumed that we weren't going to spend but maybe Fosun just didn't want to let Nuno have any more! Like I said I'm probably overthinking it. Who knows!

I think your right. If the owners want you out, the best way would be, not to give you funds for new signings. Of course the new person will get a war chest. It's just a case of how much, and we may have to take one step backwards to go two forwards if you know what I mean,
I'm sure things will come out shortly, of what exactly went on behind the scenes,

Presumably we will know at the start of next season. If the new manger plays the guys bought this year you can assume they were Fosun buys but if they disappear then we can assume they were Nuno buys.
Only Semedo - as we have no one else - and one of RAN/ Marcal - again as we have no one else, should be playing?

Semedo I think has improved as the season has gone on. He's better as a w/ b. I like him. Ditto RAN he could become good also but again as w/ b. I prefer the system, with our players not much choice tbh. Centre back and Midfield are obviously the problem. Money required I guess.

Jose the only one I can imagine for sure.
Bournemouth lost in the championship playoff semi final, their young quality midfielder Brooks maybe available to us. If he turns out like maddison has for Leicester we could get an excellent purchase there.

Phil - like both your points.
Brooks was excellent in Prem although like all Wolves players it seems he is v small. He is however much quicker than Moutinho, and does get forward well. Does he play wider or is he a CM?
Agree only Jose will def be gone.
Would like all others to stay as we need the bodies and buying replacements in addition to the ones we need will simply not be possible unless the transfer budget is far far more than I think it will be.
Neves, Semedo and Boly are all top half players still whilst Moutinho can be in cameos or even 90 mins just not every week.
With Patricio did he just have a bad few weeks in mid season as over the last few ganes he seems to be back to his more normal levels AND that may even still be top half.
As I have said before the core of the side is still good - we sadly just don't have any depth ( and that needs addressing this time) so the inuries really hurt us.
