No one has posted about Jose goal.
Semedo a calm pass out of defence, podence a lovely turn back the opposite way, dendonker superb attacking run, podence through his quality plays a beautiful pace perfect pace infront of dendonker, dendonker first time pass out to Traore on the wing, dendonker makes lung bursting run into the box, Traore one on one drives forward looks up sees the space with Jose in prime position to attack the ball, traore delivers the perfect cross and jose his run perfect strikes the ball home.
A very good counter attacking move.
The rest was pants.
We could easily of been 1 nil down had their player scored which semedo blocked, but they didn't and we made them pay.
We safe with 6 games to go on 41 points having an awful season with no crowds, our injuries so on so on, if this is our really bad season next season there a lot more hope than it seems to other fans.
My view only of course.

No Phil, Yellowstone started a thread yesterday in which he said the following about the team. He started the thread by saying we just about beat the bottom of the table side do from that I deduced he must have included Jose's performance against Sheff Utd:

Jose not good enough
Podence is only just ok
Marcel injury prone.

I think most of us on here just can't tolerate the negativity towards the club.
I agree with you Phil, Jose scored a very well worked goal. It took about 15 seconds to block their effort before breaking away and scoring.
Semedo played well and did Traore. Jose held up the ball in the middle of the park and was very Jimenez like.

Picture perfect Phil. Jose being there for the Traore cross did happily surprise me. Do think Nuno would have been whispering loudly in his ear about his need to move faster during the half time talk.

If we beat the 3 teams left below us, suddenly we have 50 points and all things considered (injuries, C.V., loss of fans) it's not a bad season.
Nuno wants to change the style of play, and with what he's working with, that hasn't been possible. He knows what players can and cannot adapt and I do expect an overhaul in the summer. We're safe and secure despite a 'poor' season, although in previous seasons we'd have crumbled and been sucked into a relegation scrap long ago under previous regimes.
Some people need to remember that.

I understand Jas, but I can tolerate the negativity more than I used to.
Its that or stop coming on here for me.
Man city and Chelsea have a lot better players than us, yet the semi final was no better than our game.

Just do what I do Phil mate scroll past the negative posts, ok admittadly some do catch me out and I respond but i've learnt not to let them bother me now.
Joses goal was great a good team worked goal Semedo making that cracking block then setting up the counter attack, Jose took it very well in my eyes he has scored 2 for us now I don't care what VAR says.
Also a lovely pass from Vinthia which set Traore off on his way for almost a second goal too, I reckon Traore saw Joe Edwards in the stand so blasted the ball at him instead to knock some sense into him lol.

Agree with Phil. Shocking season for injuries but to be fair we've had a few years with very few so added to no crowds, C.V. etc glad it's nearly done. Get sick of the negativity. Nice to read positives!

Ok thanks Phil 2nd jab tomorrow. Three weeks then I may be allowed back into the human race and get to see my granddaughter for the first time instead of on my phone! Not really moaning we are better off than a lot of people in this horrible time.
