Yup, have to agree Nigel. Southampton are currently two points below us, let's see if they end up going down. I suspect they won't, Hassenhutl summed it up perfectly before the game 'Either way the league will take care of itself but the fans want to see us compete here' ðŸ˜ðŸº.

Have Southampton won the fa cup or something? No and they won’t either, would rather be in our position than there’s to be honest but that’s just my view, until we can genuinely compete for major trophy’s the league takes priority for me.

Have Southampton or us been relegated then? No and they won't be either. So what we are talking about is a place or two difference in middle table obscurity, who cares?! We aren't ever going to compete for any trophy let a lone a major one unless we actually take them seriously! I mean Wigan managed to win an FA Cup the season they went down, so is it REALLY that impossible then?! History suggests not but you do need to have some faith in the team to have a chance!

Bullysboy 11 I can see where you are coming from and of coutures I would love us to win a major cup, I was at Wembley last time we did against forest when I was 16, what a day that was.
We had our best chance 2 seasons ago and honestly think we would have beaten Man City in the final but this season, we ain’t a patch on how we were playing then now for whatever reason so for me I would just rather make sure we stay up and kick on next season but as I said in previous post it’s just my opinion that’s all.

Fair enough Wolveswin fella, I get from previous revisions of this debate that it is pretty much just case a preference so fair dos. Incidentally I completely agree with you regarding our best chance! That semi final is a real slidding doors moment for me, had we won it and had a good final what might have been?! No point dwelling on it but I do think your right, the team we had then actually scared peeps to play. Sadly not the case at the moment ðŸ˜.

Bullysboy 11 fair play mate and to be fair to you probably my biggest disappointment I can remember was against Watford as all through my early years as a wolves fan, us getting to a FA cup final was a dream, when the FA cup was magical, live on Saturday at 3, all the build up on tv throughout the day so can totally get your passion to do our best in it
