Matchday, top of the morning to ya.

Abbey, Sir Tatton hope you both got your flying jackets at hand I'm convinced we are going to win, but as all us wolves fans its always in our minds it could be a stinker of a match.
I have found the lead up to the match, the wait, the anticipation, the nerves I enjoy immensely.
Fingers crossed we all enjoy some good football.
Greyleg you going to do the bully aeroplane when Jose finally scores?

Morning Phil and all. Yep, matchday again. Dosnt seem the same not getting ready to tavel to the ground etc. I read somewhere that we've not won on a Saturday this season, but we havnt played many I can think of.
Dunno yet about todays match, will boly be back will oops the tumbler really be out for vile etc. I think we'll be back with neto traore and fabio starting after his 10min cameo, but would prefer jose.

It's got to be the time we play really well thinking after the 1st half and last 10 or so agaisnt city it must of been soul destroying for our players, chasing shadows for most of the match and to get to 1-1 and lose 4-1.
Our team put out today will want to get back to playing and competing nothing like the city game and hopefully we score more than 2 but would take a 1 nil win.

Yes Phil I'm at the ready for take off mate, hoping I won't have to use me parachute though lol.
Feeling a big win coming today for us, could even score 3 I'm thinking, jose, Silva and adama, and probs mom.
I was thinking of me and my dad travelling from Hereford to wolves in the sixties and seventies,
7am train to brum, sometimes had breakfast at Woolworths in the bull ring, or our sandwiches in the Sir Tatton Sykes pub (my first pub in wolverhampton) then on to the supports club, the Hammond organ playing, think Duggy Morgan use to play it? old flow/ floss sitting in her chair, scarf full of badges from all the teams she had seen following the wolves, bless her, and sometimes lucky if I could go and play footy up in the gym upstairs.

Cor those were indeed the days, my first games I was too young for pub, but use to relish the atmosphere and always had fish n chips on way home. I always remember when travelling to away matches the thrill of spotting the flood light pylons in the distance, it was like " I can see the sea" moments. Sir tattoo you've put me in the mood for a decent game and a 3-1 scoreline to the wolves. It may not be pretty, it maybe controversial but as long as we're (pun coming) flying tonight I don't care. Its going to be the old cod in batter for me now. Come on me wolves.

Superb read me old pal,
Me and bro with our dad matchday in the Emerald club (my dad 1/ 2 irish),
Dad gave us both money for pop and crisps and pool whilst dad played crib or domino's with his pals then a hop over the stafford road to the mol.
Used to have a booze in the sir Tatton now and again when we were both drinking age.
