For me, Fabio deserves a go next match. Was very unlucky not to score and offers a lot more than Jose imo. Anyway, onward and upwards, let’s hope that we can do something to stop city’s run on Tuesday.

Stafford wolves while I agree fabio certainly did more running in the time he was on the pitch and was looking for the ball more and nearly won it for us I would give jose some credit for neves goal. Simply being the the area and position on front post opened the box for Ruben, and what a header it was, made up for what I thought was a rather poor performance from him otherwise. Jose must still start against City if we start the same formation, he'll find more space that he's accustomed to.
Satisfied with a point tonight but very lacking in some areas, passing and timing of them mostly. Rui spot on again, Johnny looking good and neto effort as always but not his best. Samedo was on/ off. Dendonker worrying at times. Yes jose quiet all over, but I think he may just open his account on Tuesday as we stop the city run, I really do. Onwards and upwards. Have to say that I agree with the starting Fabio approach. I don't doubt that Jose has goals in him but right now he's not earning the start. I have to be honest it's a weird one for me regarding Fabio; cause he frustrates out of me but still he'd be my pick! Just take a second now and be honest, going off highlights who's being talked about as 'should' have scored the chance to win the match right now?! Cause for me that's now three games in a row that Fabio has squandered our best chance to win! But here in lies the kicker, why in playing only 20 mins is he always getting our best chance of the game?! Say what you will about Fabios finishing but the lads often in the right place to do it! The problem is that the finishing is woeful, tonight ALL he had to do was head it down and he's a hero! Still there's no getting away from the fact that he played 20 mins and had THAT chance AGAIN which Jose didn't find in 70 mins! Now, I admit that I don't know nearly enough about developing young talent or finishing (my natural game rarely took me beyond the half way line:) but if that lad can learn to compose himself and finish he would be lethal! Now before peeps shout me down please understand I REALLY do appreciate that's a simplistic approach to strikers (I've said myself recently your judged on ya goals:) . But here's the thing, Jose can finish (I don't doubt that, I've seen it) but he rarely seems to find himself in a place to do it. Fabio on the other hand is working/ finding the space to do it two/ three times a game! He only needs to learn how to put his head down and slide it into the corner and he'd become an overnight sensation! How easier is that to do, if I'm being honest I can't say?! But I do know that at 18 years of age that one of the few luxuries you have is time on your side to learn! COYW ðŸº.

In terms of right now (away from home certainly), I’d like to see Neto and Traore tuck in a bit closer to each other and for Ottasowie to play behind them with him linking with the midfield pair to start fast breakaways through the middle.
If the wing-backs can provide the width then even with current resources I think we have an effective unit going forwards. I think 20-minute cameos are fine for Silva right now and the positions and the way he is starting to bustle into those positions is encouraging.
For me Jose can play at home where I would allow the wingers more width and leave out Otasowie. In my book it will rapidly become a good time to tinker to properly set us up for next season.

Not the best of matches but happy with a point from the performance put in.
Traore and Neto imo both need to put in some kind of service for Jose.
Great movement to create the space for neves.
I believe that was neves first goal from open play inside the box.
Abbey the curry was fine my bro didn't want his so I had double dinner I ate the lot.
Bring on city, I would keep the same starting line up.
Does anyone know when Boly will be back?

Well looking at the history if the fixture, we won with a late goal 2 season back but I think the other 4 fixtures since were drawn so the result shouldn't be to much of a surprise. Unfortunately we now have a run against City, Villa and Liverpool so could really have done with the 2 extra points.
