Good game 3 great points for us very disappointing to see Bamfords tweet about being robbed especially considering the controversy with abuse of footballers on Twitter quite in appropriate I thought.

He should be fined imo, afterall Nuno got fined just for criticizing a referee and in a way Bamford has done the same.

He's actually wrong anyway because the flag went up as it went in so he wouldn't have got the goal without VAR. In fairness his post wasn't aimed at us, he was making a point about how VAR is ruining the joy in football. I never thought I'd say it gents but I'm getting to the stage where I agree with him! 😩.

Never understand why a shot that comes back off the goal frame is considered to be a shot off target and when it rebounds in off the ‘keeper it’s an own goal with nobody getting an assist, surely it’s all part of the attempt on goal and should be credited to the attacking player, some goalkeepers stats are going to look ridiculous at the end of their careers.
{Ed001's Note - that's a very good point. I do think it should be considered as a shot off target, but a missed shot that someone else slides in is credited as an assist to the guy who shot, so why is that not treated the same?} Become a Patron!
