A win is a win-I'll take it. Patricio superb. Felt Leeds deserved an equaliser. Defending and free kicks in the second half-shocking!

Is Jose Billy no Mates if he doesn't get a pass in box he's not going to score! Could have actually should have got a couple.

Yes. Rode our luck again and defending from free kicks simply awful. We got away with it and will happily take the 3 points. Winning is good for confidence and that can only be a good thing for the rest of the season. Not going to single a certain player out but the sooner Boly is back the better.

Agree SQ our defending on set pieces was bad we rode our luck 3 chances for leeds 1 of them was a certainty.
Saying that though semedo and Neto cancelled those out, Costa at the end my heart was in my stomach.
A very good game I thought but us wolves fans always biting our nails.
The game was won in the end we had the quality player Traore even though it went in off their keeper.

Yes SQ I think Dendonker is a better midfielder than he is a defender. We were lucky but that’s all part of the game.
Still giving the ball away too much but a much better attitude to pressing the opposition and a better performance overall. Leeds are a good side!

Don’t understand what we were trying to do on those set pieces. Why we allow teams to get two or three players beyond our last defender makes no sense. Still susceptible to a fifty yard punt forward down the centre which catches our defence flat footed and with little effort their forwards in on goal. Either we push up to get them offside or Coady drops back so he can face the play. When we’re turned we are beaten for pace.
Good performance from Semedo. Will be on the score sheet soon.

I agree dendoncker is better in midfield than in defence even though I think he is a poor prem midfielder. I'm not a fan. Can't tackle, can't head, can't pass forward, can't sprint, can't finish, can't or won't take any responsibility.
I judge the quality of any wolves player by whether he could get in another prem team and what that team might be. If you aspire to be a top 6 team then you need top 6 quality players. Dendonker is not a top 6 player. I accept I'll take some stick on here for airing my opinion, but there it is. Sooner we upgrade on him, the better.

Sharesum, I agree the Donk is a better midfielder than defender, I actually think he is an awesome midfielder, wins so many headers breaks up so many attacks and is a quiet workhorse.
I also think like today he set up so many attacks from him winning the ball but in addition attacked forward when he had the space very rare for any of our defenders to do that.
But agree better in midfield, for me better than perhaps Mout or Neves at times, i'm not going to give you stick its your opinion, and that's what is great about football opinions.

On todays 3 points a huge 3 points, could have been 1 or even 0, but it wasn't, I felt a slightly improved performance over the whole game, slightly more confidence, baby steps.
As I have said before relegation talk was nonsense, we have a team full of talent but lacking in confidence, this will take time and hard fought results to restore.
All in all a great result that will help the players restore some much needed confidence.
6th spot only 7 points away hehe.

The irony is that Dendonker shows he can carry the ball forward when he is playing at the back but never does so when in midfield. Constantly playing a negative pass back to our back line must be as per instructions. I personally believe he could be so much better as a midfielder if he took more responsibility to progress attacks. He moves quite quickly with the ball at his feet but invariably opts for a safety first, negative pass. I’m sure he was far more progressive when he first came into the side.

Very good points lordthor, confidence the main gain away at Newcastle will be the test, 3 points from that, 3 against vile + hammers, whatever we can from City and pool then a run against relegation teams, injuries fully back for spurs and utd. 6th can be a reality. Fingers tightly, ever so tightly crossed.
