He looks like a striker that NEEDS a goal for me. His record is pretty decent so there's goals there, as to the fitness you could well be right. They let him go so don't think he was starting regularly as the last game was in the cup?

Jose looking a bit slow at the moment, but a much better half from neves, just wish traore would make a more positive end to his runs, we could score bags of goals but well done to the lads in the second half, amuch needed 3 points.

Well now I've worked out how to get the normal TV back i'm just wondering about a few things, 1. Jose does look slow, maybe its because the prem is faster than the Spanish game and he needs to adapt. 2. Nuno looked drained at half time and the showing of relief at the end was palpable. Would he have gone if we'd lost? . 3. The difference with johnny/ marcel in team lifts us up in confidence and balances us nicely. 4. We've now taken 7 out of 9 points in 3 prem games. 5. The rules are rules it was penalty to us the ball hit a flaying hand. Their claim as far as I am concerned hit dendonkers shoulder side of head, how mccoist shearer etc made it all into such a big thing. Stupid rules I agree but we've suffered enough with it too. Finally 6. I pay for Amazon, I pay to watch a full football match not close ups of fabio or replays over on going action (that is most prob true of all media but it annoyed me today) . But boy am I relieved we won after all the anger and disappointment on thurs fri. Looking forward to Leeds now, hopefully Nuno can relax abit. Thank you all involved in the second half transition, might even kiss the wife today now.

Looks well off the pace. I know it's early days but he's barely better than Fabio.
We needed someone to put themselves about and hit the ground running. He's not the man.

The way I look at it, It was a big result especially when you take in what seen in first half, I have seen some performances and the first half was up there. Semedo and Traore for first goal were poor, and their play in first half was total rubbish, there was a moment when Coady wanted to play a ball and nowt was on offer, you can clearly see him lose his cool about it, we were way off for the first 45 min.
Whatever was said at half time worked wonders, we were first to ball, we closed down quickly when out of possession, we wanted it more, something that has been missing for a while now, Neves gave Ward Prowse no room, Traore came inside and ran at them, this is where we needed it, but for me Donk covered his ground in defence and closed down the gap between midfield and defence, this is where he thrives, he does the unseen dirty work that allows the midfield 2 to operate better.
The second half was as good as we have seen since the opening 20 min against Sheffield united for me, we wanted it it more and You could see the team are still tight, I hope this is the turn around I have been waiting for.

I agree Shares but I think this season more than ever teams are keeping all fit players close at hand. Not many loans that could have come straight ready to play, else they probs wouldn't be availible on loan in the first (if ya catch my drift) ðŸ‘.
