Vintihna what a goal but after that we looked like the none league team and Chorley the Premier league team,
make no doubt about it Ruddy saved our backsides with a class save and he was right to have a go at the players.
Question is has Nuno lost the dressing room?
I ask as the players seem uninterested and he takes of our goal scorer,
also Cutrone started getting some good flick ons what does Nuno do? Take him off.
However despite this we must remember where we was 5 years ago, Fosun always said when they took over there was a 10 year plan and we are ahead of schedule, but I do think Nuno will be gone if things do not improve sadly it's a results business.

The game was set up for Wolves to fail. Everyone wanted Chorley to turn us over, the commentators weren't hiding that at all. We have been on a shocking run of form so confidence is bound to be low, and the pitch was poor - I was half expecting someone to do their ankle when running at pace.
However, the job was done. The match was won, banana skin avoided and baby steps taken in the right direction.
The performance wasn't good, I totally agree. Moutinho's time has come and he should be dropping back to a squad player role and concentrate on his coaching badges. No one is going to convince me that Ait Nouri is good enough and Fabio needs 2 seasons on loan in the Championship to toughen up.
BUT it was baby steps in the recovery. Confidence is low and we need to stick together and get behind the team. We've gone back to a back five and need to build that solid platform again - everything else will stem from shutting out the opposition which is what we haven't been doing.
I have no doubt Jose will give us a new dimension up front that we have been lacking since Raul's injury. A focal point up top will bring Neto and Traore back into the game as at present its pointless crossing the ball unless Saiss or Boly are up from the back.
Keep the faith my fellow pack members, we will get there again!

Agree with all of the above, Fabio is simply not good enough yet, but last night was a no win game for us.
Vitinha goal was a brilliant strike but he seems to disappear!
As for mourtinio he probably wishes he had disappeared he was awful.

Its not a happy place a wolves at present, something not right said so weeks ago but got shot down.
We ae tactically inept, and have been for a while, you could put Kane, Vardy, up front and make no difference the way we play, Strikers need service, Do you really think Willian Jose will put everything right.
Nuno continues to play his mate Moutinho, it took a young lad to have a go from 30yds to win the match last night.
If we performed in our daily jobs like some of these we'd be sacked.
These players play with a ball 5/ 6 days a week and still can't keep hold of the ball, let's be really honest last few weeks has been woeful, especially 2nd half performances.
It is a fact that Hearts players were very confused by Ian Cathro's methods.
Enough said.

I am not saying he's going to put EVERYTHING right but he will be a presence up front that we have missed since Raul's injury.
It is not just Raul's goals we have missed, its his holding the ball up and link up play to bring the wider forwards into play that we have missed and this missing link has altered our style. Fabio simply isn't that type of forward and that impacts on how effective Traore and Neto are.
Also Raul's contribution to the defence at set pieces shouldn't be underestimated. He is very often the defender who gets his head on corners and free kicks first, and our lack of ability to defend set pieces since he has been out is no coincidence.
The return to a back 3, bringing Jose upto speed quickly and getting Jonny back will be vital. Don't underestimate the impact some confidence will have on the team as results start to improve.

Agreed Statto. A new player who can hold the ball will make a difference and as you say Raul was great at defending corners etc. Get Jonny and Daniel back that will bring a confidence boost. Stay positive folks it's a blip nothing more.

Yes Raul did contribute everywhere, As I have said many times until the midfield is stronger, quicker moving the ball forward things will not change.
Willian Jose won't change the woeful 2nd half performances, only Nuno can stop them doing that.
Its not just a blip its been going on to long, Podence good as he is tends to be very selfish with the ball.
Relegation is a reality without some real improvement, teams below are improving and fighting hard to stay up.

Yellow- just to ask fella do you know someone that's worked with Carhro? Or are you basing your judgement of his sessions simply on the wiki comments of a few ex players that he may or may not have got on with?! I'm not saying he's a top coach, I've never worked with him so I wouldn't know but I do know he's been a first team coach at the club since June 2018. So why then would it only be now that players are suddenly confused by his methods?! Not having a go, more just confused as to why you are SO certain Carhro is to blame when he's also been there for the good times?!

Stephen Gerrard, Hearts players spoke about the confusion he created there.
It does seem similar at times to us not performing.
I do not know how much influence as first team coach he has.
You must agree that something is wrong game after game, you can't blame it all on injuries.

If Newcastle win they must win by 4 goals to go above us in the league. Whatever the result we play how we can and things will start looking a lot more rosy for us.
