Why are people so big on recalling Cutrone? Has a dismal few years in Italy, not scored many goals and has a poor alleged relationship with Nuno. he’s also not the ‘focal point’ that many people say we need due to his lack of height.
Imo we sign josh king/ original on loan whilst also keeping Fabio in the fold. After all, there’s not much more he could be doing due to the lack of passes he receives.

I think Cutrone still has something to offer us as a club, we never seen enough of a player who was clearly struggling to adapt at the time, he as has Silva shown glimpses that they have what it takes, they just need the right amount of time on pitch to develop and integrate, I would gave no issues of him coming back, just the same as MGW, he started off brightly at Swansea before injury, he's back from injury now, so this is his chance to prove his worth.

I personally don't think cutrone is good enough for us, never was, but it's getting more and more looking like he's going to be the cheap answer for standing in for Jimenez, so either no one will come to us or we can't afford a top player
About time things started to happen on the transfer front

Good plan for us to not look desperate on the transfer front, however, I'm sure we're looking for the appropriate players. Maybe an experienced striker (on loan) with a view to Raul returning for next season. For Raul and ourselves to make a comeback together would be a dream! FWAW.

What's happening with the c. v.?
If players from abroad are to be signed they got to have c. v. tests etc this could take a while. Have they got to be in quarantine for an amount of time?
Over 3 weeks left of the transfer window so plenty of time.
We all wait with anticipation to who we sign.

Phil - excellent point. Given we knew we were going to have to buy/ Loan a CF at the very very least I would have thought it should have been all lined up to sign the day the window opened both for CV reasons and football ones so am a little concerned that several days into the window we have still apparently done nothing other than recall MGW.

The c. v. has got me feeling low that's why I got so much more fire in my belly for the wolves.

Also added to my post above we are out the EU now is there any changes there that may have an effect on signings of new players?

My reading and understanding of the change in rules for an EU player are, that they now follow the same rules as if you were buying a player from say brazil, points based system, Senior appearances, youth, international, quality of selling club, league etc, u18s rule change though. Don't think this would apply to patrick, as he is still our player. Not sure about the self isolate bit yet.
