Football isn't as simple as 'make him a good offer and he will come'. Things such as FFP, player contracts, family etc all play a part.

There a new rule that's come out where you have more subs on the bench than what was before, I'm sure I've read that, can anyone clarify?, maybe this is the reason or part of the reason we had 2 keepers on the bench.

I checked the line ups the extra subs went to 9 from 7 starting with our game against Burnley.
Therefore the 3 games prior to Brighton (Burnley, spurs and man utd) there were 9 subs and no 2 keepers.
I just putting things out there to try to understand more.

Off the back of a new contract and breaking into the England scene, not to even mention there good form Southampton would want CRAZY money for there (homegrown) captain! Fosun don't seem keen on the English player premium and I can't say I blame them. I like Prowse and think he's good BUT is he worth the £60-80m they would want, right now I'd say that's a luxury we can't afford. We could add two top players to the squad at that level ðŸ‘.
