I'm not going out against semedo but there are times where he just looks lost, as if he can't remember where he is, there was the occasion that led to his booking, he laid the ball off and I could see he just wasn't expecting/ wanting to receive it back hence it over ran he stretches and is late. His vision ( or and hearing) at times let him down and its gets frustrating. Anyway good comeback again some lovely passing. Moutininho had a cracking 2nd but once the silly short corners stopped look what happened. I thought it looked promising for the future, a couple of decent additions and we'll be in it again. Mancs tomorrow is going to be a test though and a shame it looks like marcel will miss it.

Guys, I have to hold my hands up here because obviously I watched a different match. Suffice to say the ratings given for performances were way higher than I would have given. But, that's only i. m. o. Each to their own.

Good performance last night with those four up front, Silva will be awesome in time, disappointed with Patricio, seems to make an odd silly error, but never mind,

I only watched motd highlights so didn't get the full picture obviously, but we're clearly doing our best with a small squad, injurys and key players leaving. Conceding early is a dissapointment and the defence doesn't seem quite so tight as in the last two seasons, however in three games now the attacking play has shown promise at times, we are creating chances but don't seem able to convert them for some reason. Podence and Neto are still developing IMO and Silva could have got a hat trick but the lad's inexperienced, only 18 and is substituting for arguably the most polished all round number 9 in the league. let's hope things start to click soon. We're still in with a shout.

Managed to watch 1st half on my phone (thanks BelfastðŸ‘) but it didn't come on 2nd half.
What I saw 1st half semedo played well and perfect cross for silva chance (I thought it had gone in) .
The short corners I agree they are not working, my big disappointment was Traore he gets in great positions but his final delivery is woeful come January we need someone who can deliver.
All in all a lot more positivity for us going forward in the new year.

Well the defence did keep Kane and son quiet so they did ok.
Still think Neves and mounts need a big strong player to help.
I'm sure Nuno will deliver.

I hope everyone has had an ok Christmas. Sadly I didn't get to watch the match though I've seen on twitter Harry Kane's attempt to get into the Olympic Diving team. Nice attempt!
