Not good enough anywhere on the pitch! We were terrible today, worst performance since WHU. No shame losing to Pool but there is shame in giving soft goals away and not laying a glove on them! Nuno needs to learn to adapt, why stick with the four man defence when we suddenly don't have a striker?! The whole point in the change was to increase the attacking threat but we haven't done that, in fact all we seem to have done is weaken our defence. Speaking of Semedo, he needs to start finding his feet and quick. Defensively he looks woeful, always in the wrong place! I have tried to stay positive but I watch games like today and if I'm being honest the fact is we are weaker than last season. If that's due to a transition in playing style then fine but Wolves have gambled a lot in one window if they've got it wrong then its going to cost us!

Performance was utter garbage. Nothing upfront, shocking defensively. A Liverpool team this season barely above average and we made them look world beaters. Nuno has completely run out of ideas-apologies to Phil 789-but that is the fact. Moutinho and Neves just not influential any longer. The players brought in have not improved on the last two years. Defeat against Villa on Saturday and I fear alarm bells will be ringing.

the performance suddenly had the stuffing knocked out of it with Cody's cock up. After that there was little desire and no direction to speak of. And at risk of being slated what did dendonker actually give tonight? We were playing with a hole in the team, like only 10 men, and they seemed to know it. Jiminez work rate and running, his presence sorely missed. Chelsea spurs man u even villa before any replacement. lose points to those and we can only fear lower mid table. Nuno needs to pull the team somehow, but how?

We were poor tonight. The 2000 fans in the ground really made a difference tonight I feel as it seemed to lift and inspire the Liverpool team to put on a show. Our heads dropped after Coady's mistake. Very disappointed. If the Cutrone rumour is true, let's hope he hits the ground running and gets his career on track. He left us as he missed his family, couldn't settle and was 2nd choice to Raul. He has since endured a torrid time at Fiorentina so hopefully if he does come back, even until the end of this season only, he can score the goals as he will be our number 1 striker whilst Silva is nurtured.

Don't mind me losing, but at least put a shift in, back four attrocious, I was one who thought a back four would be ok for us.
But it's only highlighted that coady is a sweeper, at best.

I agree with sq as regards to neves, he has been woefully inadequate since march, and we have to start questioning the summer signings.
Semedo aside, we have spent a significant amount of money and not improved the team in any way, the injury to Raul puts us in a awkward position and we have nobody to fill his boots and only Nuno can be held accountable for that.
Let's hope for a quick learning process and this was only a blip but I have my doubts.

I couldn't get a stream of the match so listened on 5live.
I can't really comment but SQ no need to apologise for your comments on nuno going on reading all the comments above I can see why you see it how you do.
