Hi all, first time post, long time follower.
Very sad about Raul, one of the best C. F. We have ever had in my opinion.
Do we need to recall Cutrone?

Caused by a reckless challenge by a player totally out of control with no thought for the safety of fellow professionals or even himself, sure there’s a few laws of the game that state such actions are serious foul play but not in the eyes of our friend from Wembley and the best referee in the Prem (or VAR) who then went on to miss a clear and obvious penalty (VAR? ) and book Traore for simulation, can only hope Raul makes a full recovery.

Wishing Raul and his family all the best. This was something that was always going to test us, a long term injury to one of our key players, let alone goal scorer.

First the positives-a superb attacking display in the first half-albeit against a poor Arsenal side. In the last four games we have one two drawn one and lost one, scoring five goals and Jimenez was not amongst any of the goals, so it maybe something we can be positive about -the fact that the opposition can no longer just rely on sticking two men on the Mexican to snuff us out.

However Neto-who was superb, Traore and Podence HAVE to become more ruthless on a consistent basis, because -and I hope I am wrong, I'm not sure Fabio will cut it for the forseaable future. We are close to the window so hopefully Fosun will sanction some transfer money for a striker?

Agree first thoughts go to Raul, but as you say we might need a loan or something depends how long he is out for.

Thoughts are with Jimenez and his family.

Yes obviously best wishes to Raul for a full and speedy recovery. I only saw highlights but what I saw looked realy good with what was a 4231 or variation of 442. Podence and Neto stepped up well to take the goals at a time when the side had only one win in 4 matches and Traore had a part in both goals. Looks like Fabio will have to step in now let's not pile pressure on an 18 year old to score 20 goals but view him as a link for Neto and Podence to get into scoring positions. Can we afford to play this way against better teams I don't know but a great result despite the injury.

If we buy/ loan someone in rather than rely on Silva or move Neto more centrally who do you think would be a good idea and possible?
Of those plying their trade in the prem currently I would suggest Giroud of Chelsea might be the best option?
Thoughts?

Very sorry news for Raul. Wish him a safe recovery.

Hi All, Its difficult to know at present whether Raul will be able to play again, the operation could have been to repair the fracture (hopefully) or more serious there was a bleed inside the skull and the pressure had to be dealt with, I'm sure all our best wishes are with him and he is able to resume his career.

It was a good win re Arsenal, just a good job they could not finish last 20 mins, annoyingly we keep sitting back and giving the ball away in later stages of games, If Arsenal could finish it would have been a different score line.
Wolves need to stop this, attack is the best form of defence.

Agreed Yellowstone-another reason why we keep giving away needless free kicks and pick up stupid yellow cards.
