Agree Kilman very good but can you or anyone else tell me what Dendoncker does apart from running around like a headless chicken?

It's lmost like starting off playing with 10 men!

Brid- two clean sheets in a row that's what Dendoncker does! I'm not saying it's all him but it's not a coincidence that he didn't play any role in the WHU game! He wasn't great last night but he did win countless headers and continually close down/ break up play. Not every player in a line up can be about skipping past players or scoring goals, it's all about balance🐺.

Dendoncker does all the nitty gritty donkey work which imo goes unnoticed.
Our midfield seems to be stronger with dendoncker in there.
Nuno thought he was the best option for last night's game hence benching Neves.
I can see his role isn't pretty to you but it's essential for how nuno sets his team out.
All my opinion of course.

Agree with you Bullysboy 11 and Phil789. Next to nothing got past Dendonker' he put a lot of fires out with his constant closing down. He's vital to the shape of our team. We must have the right balance. UTW.

Long time reader and now first time contribution. Having watched my beloved Wolves since I was 7yo, including watching the likes of Campbell and Cavan Chapman, am thoroughly narked off with the negative comments on here. Such short memories, instead of enjoying this amazing journey and accepting the occasional hiccup along the way, the same contributors can do nothing but criticise. Yes, Dendonker is not our most creative player but consider this and his value to the team, the pack. 3 starts this season, 3 wins and 3 clean sheets. The 2 games he did not start, 2 defeats and 7 goals conceded. Enough said. Rant over. 😁.

Agree with all the love for Dendoncker, can more or less do it all, to a certain degree. A modern day Neil Emblen? Also, always in the Belgium squad, as we know, No.1 ranked in the world! FWAW.

Dendoncker mentioned 4 times by the commentators against Leeds-shouldn't a midfielder be more involved than that?

He does not compare to Neil Emblem-when he played midfield he would have been mentioned probably more than 20 times!

21 Oct 2020 22:14:10
Do they get time to mention a player every time they win a header then?! Cause he certainly won more than four in the first half alone agaisnt Leeds!

Dendoncker got the heads up on Leeds from Kevin de Bruyne whilst on international duty with Belgium.
The biggest difference I see from Emblem and Dendoncker is when Emblem was playing I had hair. Lol
FWAW.

Check out Dendoncker stats from the Leeds match bridgotel and do you still think the same Dendoncker runs around like a headless chicken?

Donk is a big part of our squad, he does a lot of dirty work and tracking back, he's is a starter for me.
