AMN in Arsenal starting lineup tonight. Looks like that is dead in the water. Shame really, as I would really have liked to see him at Wolves. Think he is a player who is going to go from strength to strength over next few years and would have been a massive attribute with his capacity to fill various roles.
I suppose there is still a remote possibility, as he is not in their Premier League starting eleven. Will get pushed further down pecking order for his preferred midfield role if they get their targets over the line before 6th.

Totally with you on this one Ecosse. I'd spend the 30m Costa (if true) money on AMN though he could be the one who got away. He would be perfect, a driving forward midfielder which is the missing part of the puzzle for me!

AMN was targeted as RWB I beleive. We got Semedo instead. AMN not going anywhere.

Sharesum. I'm not sure about RWB I'd be surprised if we had got him to play there. It's midfield he wants to play in, that was his problem with Arteta. As you say it may be academic! I see Costa doesn't seem keen, suits me I don't think we need him. Not that my opinion matters!

Have to disagree with you there mate. Yea AMN wants to play in midfield and yes he's versatile which would attract Nuno but at the time he was seen as a direct replacement for Doherty and they must have been fairly confident of getting him to let Doc go when they did. Obviously the situation changed with the player for whatever reason and we moved on. Put it this way, I don't think we'd have Semedo now if we'd signed AMN back then.
Anyway, all academic now. The squad is shaping up very nicely. Feeling confident now about Sunday.

Ken, I think you're wrong about Costa not fancying us I reckon it's the other way around. We no longer do big fees for older players with no sell on value.
