Tim Spiers states to expect 2 more incoming players next week.
Surely we’ll need to sell to finance these moves (from a FFP angle) .
My feeling is that we could still see the exit of Traore in this window in a £65m+ deal.

I know what you mean NES cause I've been thinking the same thing. In fairness it does depend on how big those other two transfers are (in terms wages as much as anything) . But I can't help thinking as you say we could see another leave yet (wouldn't be surprised if it was Saiss or maybe even Jota) . Either way though as I've said before I trust the project and more to the point Nunos judgement, so for me what will be will be. Just already feeling ready for matches to start up again, even if our starting 11 ain't ready yet! COYW 🙈😂.

I think it depends on accounting periods as well. Could be we can this young lad up to speed this season without having to sell until the end! Who knows? Let's just get back on the pitch and playing again.

Supposedly bringing in a defensive midfielder. Paulhina? If so, maybe Dendoncker will be on his way.

NES - see above.
Clearly if they are both £30-£40m signings then we MIGHT need to do more - as on 4 year contracts a £40m signing costs £10m plus wages.
If we assume we break even in 2019/ 20 - the year that ended in May and pre these two postulated signings we make - a conservative guess given player sales to date - £20m again (the figure we made n 2018/ 19) we will have an aggregate £40m of profits over the 3 years. If you read ED above he states that we need to break even over the period. Consequently unless the new players are on massive salaries we should be absolutely fine in 20/ 21.
Obviously in 21/ 22 (and going forwards) we will still have the "extra £10m per player of contract amortisation ( for 4 years) so might need to grow revenues to pay for that - although of course other players (bought in summer 2018 on 3 year contracts? ) will see their contracts fully amortised and thus perhaps total costs will not rise as much as you might imagine.
I know we are paranoid about FFP given the fine received but please have faith its not as difficult as some would have you believe and Fosun are far from financially stupid.
The problems seemingly all result from the promotion season - when we lost a massive £50m++ figure - but that was because income was peanuts then compared to now. We perhaps gambled on getting promotion -spending way more than we could "afford" but we won!
Going forwards Fosun will manage this as they have everything else so far!
{OTHER THAN SELLING DOHERTY FAR TOO CHEAPLY ------- JOKE! }.
