This will be a very unpopular post given what took place after Wembley, but I would be tempted to take a punt on Deeney from Watford, sort of player who can come on with 20 minutes left and nab a goal.

At the moment we are a million miles away from competing with Chelsea I’m afraid, Chelsea will have money to burn due to their transfer embargo finishing.
There is no way on the face of the earth we will be spending 40-50 million on one player we will be looking At players in the 10-20 million bracket. Deeney would cost around 5 million from what I understand and the reason I said Deeney who do we have as an option to Jiménez at the minute? Another shout is Wilson at Bournemouth but he’s going to be the 20 million mark. I’m not being rude but if you think we are competing with Chelsea for transfers your in cloud cuckoo land. Deeney would be a massive backward step and a true sign that Fosun are not prepared to push on. However, it's all conjecture so let's hope we get some real quality through the door.
