That Talking Wolves twitter is good for a giggle.

Taking everything into account including the editorial resume on FFP which is wholly correct
Wolves are and will be considerably weaker in terms of team strength than the last two seasons. Therefore one has to laugh at Four Four Twos prediction that we will again finish 7th.

Before anyone says I'm a stupid old fool I'll happily admit to all three! Back in the late 60's early 70's when I could officially go in pubs it wasn't that difficult to find out what was happening at Wolves. You went down to the Mermaid on Bridgnorth Road of a Sunday lunch and ask the players that were in. Obviously it's not so easy now mores the pity!

I predict a top 6 push this season, I don't see Nuno or Fosun giving up that easy, especially after all the hard work and progress made in such a short time, I suppose some will never be happy and alwas have a glass half empty, but I for one think next season will be another forward step to being a top 4 side and more European football.
Nuno and Fosun again are giving us no insight to there plan, which I have no issue with, so let's sit back and enjoy another new season.

It's early days yet, as gloomy as they are, but there is a lot of new chat going on with transfers. Too soon to write off our chances this season as I think the fat lady hasn't sung yet.

I'm sure the fat lady hasn't yet, but wouldn't it be nice to know what's happening. But I guess that's the way it is now. Just hope Shi isn't out of his depth.

Spot on Sydneywolf, I think the plan is on track, new signings are always difficult to get right regardless of the price tag its still a gamble if the player will settle/ gel.

Looking forward to watching the wonderful Wolves as they strive for more success with Nuno at the helm.

Whilst I can understand the nervous feelings there are no solid grounds to base those feelings on, these really are great times for any wolves supporter.

Agree totally Thor. After close on 60 years as Wolves fan it's been a long time coming! Such good times and we all want the same result. Wish I could get to matches now but sadly not. Enjoy these banter pages now though, it makes me feel involved.

heh, really good to hear Ken, I first became a Wolves fan early 70's had the Texico Cup triangle banner above my bunkbed i'd be about 7 or 8, my dad has always harped on about the 50's, I'm hoping for a return to the days I never witnessed.
Massively enjoying the football I'm seeing at the Mol these days :)

Good to hear lucky you! We moved into Wolverhampton in 65 when I was 14 . Started then for me. Such good times! Then the hard times, but what goes around comes around. Much better times now. Though for me standing opposite the clock was terrific! Wish I could still go. But hey that's life!
