Conor Coady misses out on the England squad again. What does Mings have that Coady doesn't?
Also, anyone remember Southgate saying he wouldn't select anyone without top flight experience only to select Mason Mount who was at Derby at the time, well he's gone and done it again and contradicted himself by selecting Kalvin Phillips who has never played top flight football.

I don't even mind that Coadys not in it but its the fact that Mings is which bothers me! This is a guy that has only EVER played for Prem defences that have let in 60+ goals a season! Bournemouth moved him out to the left cause he was too error prone for the centre and that's when there defence was leaking goals already! If that REALLY is the best CB this country can offer up then we are in trouble, half the Villa fans don't even seem to rate him! I mean if I didn't know any better you'd almost think that Southgate has an affinity towards Villa, shameless! ; (.

I think Southgate will never pick Coady. Coady now has two years top flight experience but is still not on Southgate's radar even though the PL virgin Kalvin Phillips is. How does this affect Wolves? Actually it's good for Wolves as Coady has been played to death these past three seasons, and more matches would be counter productive.
Another thought: With a name like Conor Coady there's a fair chance that Conor has a drop of Irish blood in his ancestry. If so, and if international recognition is important to him, why not with Ireland?

Southgate has also picked Maguire in spite of his trial going ahead in Greece. The charges were not dropped as Maguire's lawyer predicted. Maguire should not play for England until he has been found innocent. If he is found guilty the charges are serious and should rule him out of future England contention.

I'm sure England won't be playing 3 at the back like our system and this is the reason he hasn't picked Coady. i'm sure Southgate has said this when he picked Mings for his first call up and not Coady.

Southgate is in a long line of England managers. Biased and eventually clueless. I say that too with the running thought that I'm not particularly bothered that Coady hasn't been called up. Except for the man himself.

Deep- already been found guilty fella on ALL charges and shamefully still showing NO remorse and saying him and his family are the victims! What's wrong with English players?! Maguire, Grealish, Walker even our own Gibbs White the list goes on! I'm not sure if it's just that we don't see the stories but I'm not seeing players from France, Spain etc regularly caught doing stuff this dumb?!

What gets me is Connor Coady organises our defence/ team also more often than not he’s the back bone of our team great leader and captain not only do we defend so well due to his reading of the game his range of passing for a defender is 2nd to none imagine him spraying balls to sterling and sancho whoever else may be playing putting England on the front foot How he hasn’t been called up is beyond me I truly believe he would be an asset to the England team.
