Looking at next season.
When the transfer window reopens I just wanted to throw it there that the quality of players we need to improve our squad are few and far between in means of us signing them. So my point is if we don't sign players we (fans) want it's imo not down to our owners or management.
A few disappointed fans last summers transfer signings. But we had another great season and its not over yet.
Everything is on course on the journey to the top whatever fosun and nuno do. Itis fantastic for our fans. Only being over greedy for instant success fans don't realise this when we don't have good results and/ or we don't sign world best players. I think at the time these over greedy fans wanting success moaning and groaning are really annoying but in the cold light of day I just see passionate fans letting off frustration.
The proof is in the pudding fosun and nuno have made us a premier league force and it's odds on with that proof its going to get better.

My only concern for next season is:
If we were to win or get to the final of the Europa League, the squad would only have 2 weeks off before the new season begins and fatigue really will set in. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all complete their seasons on 26th July and don't play again till Sept. A shorter break I know but still a longer on than Wolves, Man Utd and Man City. This could make a massive difference next season.

Signings wise, I would expect us to sign at least 1 recognised Central defender, possibly Daniele Rugani. This will allow Saiss to play in his preferred midfield role when required and the same for Dendonker.

To be five points ahead of Burnley and two in front of Sheffield Utd and to have won the same amount of games is quite an achievement. Well done Nuno.

Sure is with all the extra games we have played and still in the europa league and in our hands to finish 1 better than last season in the league.

I know I'm accused of being pessimistic but with references to the above I am concerned for next season. 1. Not enough of a break. 2 Leeds Newcastle above us in the pecking order re transfers. 3. Small squad. 4 No European football will possibly lead to exits from some of our players. What are others thoughts?

SQ- point 1 I think is a concern but pretty much the same for all teams.
Point 2 I personally don't think Leeds and Newcastle are a concern on transfers we are a better proposition.
Point 3 50/ 50 we have proved we are easy top 10 team with small squad but the down side is if we have more than a few injuries.
Point 4 I agree with you but potentially if not in Europe next season we could do better in the league who knows but as I said the proof is in the pudding. If fans don't want to see the progress which is being made because it's not enough progress for them then that is their problem.

I think at minimun we need a cb and a attacking midfielder who can get into the box.
Raul could do with quality back up too how about that lad from Wigan Joe Gelhardt?

My concern for next season is that we will play with four wingers and four midfielders and get bullied by run of the mill teams with seasoned battle hardened managers.

Real awful spectre of both Vile and Albion being in Premier as Brentford losing at Stoke.
