Squeaky bum time at the top and bottom of the premier league.
That lacazete goal for arsenal was a cracker but our jota's goal from the superb neves long pass was for me the goal of the day yesterday. It was pure footballing poetry starting with neves tackling and dispocessing the Everton guy and pinging the ball 50 60 yards onto the eye of the needle for jota to chest down on the run and unleash a left footed rocket into the back of the net.
One thing from yesterday grealish going down like he had been shot cheating to win a penalty why he wasn't given a yellow card puzzles me Bournmouth beating Leicester went for us and made the relegation battle more interesting. Tottenham don't look a threat to make top 6 whatever Mourinho spouts out. All in all great weekend for us and very nice reading all the posts yesterday. Good fortune for wolves and all wolf pack. 🤗.

Good post Phil i'd love to see Watford and Bournmouth go down
if we can finish 6th I recon its a good season for us

Les Buxton Wolf.

Yes Les I agree finishing 6th will be a good season for us 1 place higher than last season which would confirm we weren't a 1 season wonder and we have progressed.
I believe like many others we will get to top 4 finish at some point in the not to distant future.
Regarding who gets relegated Bournmouth are the main team I would like if given the choice to be relegated the Villa not sure now, if they stay up I think it will be 6 points for us from them next season. But villa still grinds on me how they was towards us when we won the championship. There is as well a local Derby but imo we are by far way ahead the best team/ club in the West Midlands and I would look for 6 points off villa and west brom if they are both in the Premier league next season.

It will be very close indeed. Leicester have to play Sheff Utd, Spurs and Man U which so any result for any team will work to our advantage.
Chelsea have to play Norwich, so if they win, they will go 8 points ahead of us into 3rd place. They then play Liverpool away. So all being well, Chelsea will lose to Liverpool and we beat Burnley and Palace. This then leaves us 2 points behind Chelsea going into the last day showdown so it could be a winner takes all game.
I fully expect Man Utd to beat Southampton, Palace, West Ham and Leicester to finish in 3rd with either us or Chelsea 4th.

One more win beats last year's total I got it wrong previous post while back I am correct 57 last year? on 55 now 1 win takes us to 58.So nuno has done better than last year from 1 more win out the last 3 games.
I will take 1 more win as worst outcome which is a great achievement 3 wins finishing top 4 is what we're all hoping for and would be totally amazing.

Yes Jas what could possibly go wrong?

13 Jul 2020 19:53:53
WindowWolf, nothing will go wrong. We are Wolves. We have Nuno, we hunt as a pack and the rest of the Premier League better watch out because WE ARE BACK. Coyw!

I think it would be better if Villa dropped only because they would have financial power and more than likely replace the manager. On the other hand this would more than likely be considered as a nonsense post.

Valid comment SQ I still think though if villa stay up I am confident we will get 6 points off them. But no one knows the future of villa at the moment so you could be right SQ.

I'm feeling 100% same as Jas. If it does go Pete tongue it won't kill me but I would proper be down and feel crap.

It is on bcc2 second half on bcc1 I believe.

SQ, Villa owners may have financial power but the big problem they face if they stay up is if they were to spend big on overhauling the squad, how are they going to get rid of the dross that is currently at the club to accommodate the new players because they've proved this season that they ain't any good.

Good point Jas M.
