Jas M how can you say the Premier is a tougher league than the Portuguese when we have had a one team league this season and Portugal are the current European International holders?

Because you see a lot of players leaving the Portugese League to play in the Premier League to test themselves whereas not many players move from the PL to the Portugese league.
In response to your question about Portugal being Euro Champions - you do realise that 15 of the 23 man squad didn't play for a Portugese team at the time so that has no relevance to your point.
Also, let's look back to the European club competitions last season. How many Portugese teams made it to the latter stages compared to PL teams. Same again this season.
That's how I can say the PL is tougher.

So in the Europa League Wolves were runners up to a team from an inferior league with a manager who you claim is not fit to lace Nuno’s shoes. Looking forward how are we going to progress? That was the original point that PT grasped and you argued against.

E form, are you actually suggesting that the Prem League ISN'T a higher standard than the Portuguese league?! If so I have a question for you, why are there best teams losing players to the Champ?! Or just check the Euro league rankings where it is VERY clearly higher?! How mad have these pages become?
