Truth hurts as some of the reply's have shown. We are a solid Premier side, but we are miles away from bein top 4 regularly, the games against Bournemouth, villa and Arsenal show our inadequacies and Nuno's one dimensional tactics. We basically set up not to lose instead of lookin to win. Without Traore's talent we lack game changing players. Fosun your investment is needed big time if we are to achieve success, and if that means getttin a different coach so be it. But as I said at the start we are a solid Premier team, which is sound for now. 👍.

Paul we will get regular top 4 the players we have will either improve or be replaced nuno`s tactics are spot on but to play this way we rely heavily on quality forward players which we have and are surely going to add to or replace.
That's the truth through my eyes and yes it does hurt when we play and lose or draw or only win 1nil when I want and expecting to win 3or4.
But I'm happy to wait and bide my time to when we are top 4.

PT, would you say Brendan Rodgers is doing a better job at Leicester?

07 Jul 2020 11:35:36
Nuno isn't going anywhere that's virtually set in stone so it better to accept that than to talk or think about anything else. No one who has questioned nuno's tactics has come up with a better manager this confirms what I'm saying. E f w we are doing better than last season so if you are coming across as we are blinkered and are fools I stick by what I say if you are not I apologise.

Think all of the comments are valid. In essence at the moment we are a mid table team doing better than expected. We have to look ahead and improve upon the game plan. We don't score enough goals for one think and we don't have enough shots. I personally don't like this sitting back and then try to pinch something on the counter but I guess with the players. Paul T I don't think we will invest for the next season and Jimenez and Traore will go. Really hoping we can pull something out of the back st Sheffield.

Thing is PT you do this everytime things get a bit wobbly you turn on players or the manager, this is only our second year back in the Premier league.
We're not going to win the league overnight it takes time.

Sometimes I do wonder. 3 years ago we were wallowing in the Championship having just come out of Div 1 and frankly looking like we could well head back down. 3 years ago if you told me we would be in Europe and getting results against top teams I would have laughed at you and suggested you see a doctor. To even think we could aim for the top seemed about as likely as going to the moon. I am very grateful to Fosun, the management, and All at the Mol for giving me some great football and a dare to dream.

07 Jul 2020 13:55:55
By all means dream but without better players and a coach with more ideas we will not get top 4 or 6 regularly. With Nuno and current players we will be a solid Premier side, but if u want to make the leap up? Players and a more dimensional coach needed. Guess it’s up to the individuals view of what success is to them? With me, if u stand still to long u stagnate👍 Keep freshening things up Fosun👍.

We need to strengthen our matchday squad the players on the bench need to be as good as the players on the pitch. the likes of MGW are not of the same standard, our bench is our weakness.

07 Jul 2020 14:34:45
OK PT, could you explain where the money to buy the better players is going to come from whilst complying with FFP, the impact of the virus and the lack of income coming into the club during the worldwide crisis? And also which manager will come in if there is this lack of ambition as you seem to think.

07 Jul 2020 14:54:03
Didn’t call it a lack of ambition? Just stated we’re still along way away from achieving the ultimate. Does anybody see this current squad achieving it? If the answers yes your deluded.

07 Jul 2020 14:58:21
No one has said we don't need to strengthen our squad PT infact everyone will agree with you we do need to strengthen it, but why are you turning on Nuno?

07 Jul 2020 15:29:41
I’m not turnin on Nuno? IMO we will need a more diverse coach to achieve our long term ambitions. No witch hunt, just lookin further in future.

07 Jul 2020 15:48:20
And if we beat Sheff Utd tomorrow, all will be rosy in the garden again until the next loss.

07 Jul 2020 16:03:56
The more diverse coaches are all at the biggest of European clubs, that means then that you are taking a punt on a relatively unknown coach to try and take us to the next level.

I agree with baza, until the bench matches the match day squad for quality we'll struggle to break into the top 4 and the extra income that brings. If we can squeeze in this season then that could attract the quality of player some think we need to move onto the next level.

07 Jul 2020 17:59:41
Paul you keep saying Nuno is one dimensional but can you just explain to me what that means in a manager?! Cause Pepe, Klopp even Fergy always play the same system so are they one dimensional as well then?! Seemed to work for them mind but then they had the luxury of time and patience!

You really should go into politics, cause your great at finding the problems but not so keen on finding the solution! So I will ask you and SQ one more time WHO DO YOU WANT AS MANAGER?

The simple fact that you both refuse to admit (despite it being blindingly obvious to everyone else) is that the manager you are both talking about doesn't exist! So if that's the jist of this convo then why stop at made up managers! let's sign a new team as well soooo I want 5 Ronaldos, 5 Messis along with 5 Maldidnis for the defence and oh and I better take 1 Buffon to go in goal! As we are playing Fantasy Football we may as well all have a go!

This is only footy so the truth doesn't hurt but the feeling of ungratefulness does get more than a little tedious and grating mind!

07 Jul 2020 18:53:09
Nuno is far from one dimensional we can switch from 4 3 3 to 3 5 2 seamlessly we can play attacking counter attacking going from controlling a game to letting teams play in front of us without causing problems we have goal threats all over the pitch we can play down the wings or use our striker to hold the ball up we can play through the middle we can use long range passes or short sharp intricate passing tell me you have ever watched a wolves team as good as this so if Nuno is one dimensional and everyone has worked us out when for 3 years we’ve played like this and yet year on year we improve than I will stick with one dimensional Nuno thanks get yourself down villa park or the hawthorns mate they love fans like you.

07 Jul 2020 22:14:22
We're not going to break into the top 4 that easily. Leicester might have had a couple of good seasons in recent years but we're up against some big money clubs who can sign world class players - meaning Spanish, French and German players not just Portuguese, Belgian, Mexican and Moroccan. We're not a big club (yet) and we're not going to get the money as easily as that.

We lost one game when the teams around us all won. Let's not be greedy. Top 4 might be out of reach but another season in Europe isn't.

Sound comments from Bully, Scalf, and Whole Team. We need to see this realism and realise we have exceeded expectations, the next bit is really tough, and we see that daily in the press that the top 6 get compared to us. We still have a mountain to climb to hit the top 4 and stay there.
