Fans seem to be speculating who we should sign, which seems property pointless in the present crisis. I’d be more interested in if people think the game will fully recover, Clubs owners are losing money faster than they were spending it, players contracts will undoubtably be scrutinised, will fans who’ve been in lockdown one day want to be in crowded Stadiums with their friends and family the next, will TV companies still pour money in to the game? It would be nice to think the game could start again with a couple of days notice and be just the same but is that wishful thinking.

Pretty sure fans speculating about who we could sign is to divert attention from the global crisis to lift spirits. All posts on here are interesting to me as the boredom of self isolation in the lock down is going to last for weeks.
I don't won't to post my views on if football will recover the implications to our own season so on so on for my own personal reasons.

Football is secondary at this moment in time. People need to realise that this pandemic is real and us only going to get worse before getting better. I hate the fact that my wife and kids have to stay home whilst I have to go to work. I am not an NHS worker but work in the emergency services. I've been told to be out there enforcing the lockdown. To be fair it ain't been too bad but please please please if you know anyone who keeps going out when they don't need to, tell them to STAY HOME. I'd rather people stay home for 2 weeks and stay alive than go out and infect others unwittingly.

The pandemic is very real and scary. I can say from first hand experience as my other half and I are just coming through the worst after contracting the virus. The NHS staff and emergency workers are true heroes for this country.
