Var is not good and I'm contemplate ing putting football behind me as I took more enjoyment watching a mans game this morning. the reason we didn't win is the 18 man squad isn't good enough for the fixture list.

I'm a huge Rugby fan. The video ref works well in rugby (not perfectly) because the refs have more control and more balls to make decisions.
It also shows any offences or decisions on the big screen (if they have them) so the spectators know what's going on.
In rugby the ref can ask the video team to look at something AND the video team can refer thongs to the ref.
VAR is new, we need it to bed in and evolve quickly. At the moment there are way too many bad decisions made by VAR and way too many things missed by it.
Buy for me it needs the ref (the people it helps) to be more proactive and more certain. Until that happens we are going to keep getting these weekends when it kooks rubbish!

Rugby? Please! Balls are for kicking. Grown men playing catch? Do me a favour!

That's your opinion Coven wolf but my opinion is we didn't win through being not clinical enough in front of goal and obviously denied a penalty by wrong VAR decision.
Exterwolf fantastic performance against the all blacks.
FWAW.

Most decisions in football are matter of opinion and the only opinion that matters is the referees and his assistants, if the games going to be referees on tv because “it’s better” then a hell of a lot of fans will do the same and save their hard earned season ticket money. In other sports that use technology and want to keep fans informed/ interested the referee/ umpire wears a microphone so everyone can hear their reasoning. now that’s never going to happen in football! VAR can’t work in football, we need a referendum.

No point having a referendum Ron'all the losers will do is spit'kick and b*tch and tell the winners they are morons and didn't know what they were voting for.

I'm probably going to be slated for saying this but footballers and fans could learn a lot from rugby players and fans. Rugby players don't fall like they've been poleaxed at the slightest touch, at the end of the match they have respect for each other. Fans supporting different teams sit together and enjoy the match together. None of this childish slagging off of the opposition.
Lots of lessons could be learned.

I agree with footballers diving as if been poleaxed but the fans banter towards each other is what makes the game. you can't beat the atmosphere at a football match-that's my view. Back in the day I had a few times on a rugby team knees up drinking till the next morning proper drinking games that's my favourite thing about rugby lol.
