Disappointed with this window, we have not improved our startin 11! We have brought in youngsters who will become assets to Fosun who will sell them on for profit! This was a great chance to build to compete with the top 6, we have European football to offer but we haven't used this to our advantage and if we're not willing to pay 80k a week wages (4mil) a year we will achieve nothin in the Prem! And yes I am questioning Fosun ambitions for our club.

I actually have to agree with you. I think the couple of first team players are good squad players but without improving our best 11. We had the perfect chance to attract players required to improve on last season giving that we could offer European football. I can’t see the squad we being able to cope with all the Europa League games should we continue through qualifying rounds and to improve on the points tally we got last season. Unless there is a change in tactics against the lower premier league teams I can see us having ups and downs against those teams as last season and as most of the teams in top six have improved there squads we may struggle to do as well as we did against them last season. I am still proud of how far we have came and can’t believe the quality we have compared to 2 years ago but still feels like a missed opportunity.

PT your usual rectionary crap. Wait and see. we will get better with the squad and new recruits.

We’ve missed a trick! 3 quality first team signings and we would of been challenging too 6! Instead the impetuous has gone! Poor window and anyone with an ounce of footballing savvy can see that! Obviously u haven’t Mikebayleaf! Your blinkered!

A bit harsh mikebayleaf. I think PT makes valid points, this was a golden opportunity to raise things and the wages to do that have to be met. The influx of youngsters does suggest a nursery approach for sell on profit, because no matter how good they may become if we do struggle with fixture build up, injury or suspension well be sliding backwards. Fosun know how to make money and we are a branch of their business. Just a shame they havnt invested in the quality we could do with.

Thanks abbywolf but to many r blinkered.

A link from the blind, you want immediate success and thank goodness Fosun have mose sense. Whatever you think you ain't experts in football management and neither am I so I suggest you keep your conusel and stop making yourself look reactionary.

Without bein reactionary there would be no point havin this message board.

Your right mikebayleaf we ain't no managers. Just humble supporters who enjoy the game and want the best for our team. Fosun have turned our club around with aspirations of championship football, they've taken us to this point. All we are sayang is why then havnt they consolidated things with quality proven signings?
A youth policy is admirable but youngsters learning their way will not sustain a club aiming for top 6.positioning and the fear we may slip back in our ambitions for the sake of profiteering. Nuno is a manager however, and in Nuno I trust. Cracking win tonight, maybe some youngsters can have a go Thursday next?

Agree with PT, left ourselves short. Bought 2 Chinese players just to take one to china to sell shirts. Oxford fans were laughing that we paid for him. Vallejo is known to be injury prone. Cutrone looked good tonight and will be a good asset. We have played 3 games and Doc is carrying a knock (again) so is Saiss and Neves. Jiminez say burn out after a long summer so we have to pray to two from Lazio and the lad from Bayern can step up.
