We’re being rumoured to be interested in marry cash, who plays in a 5 at that back and is great offensively and defensively. at 13 million could be a great aigning.

I agree that Fabio just isn't ready yet, at least physically. but his movement is exceptional for someone of his age and given the service, he'd definitely score some goals. but we don't have that at the minute so we need a proven striker that can create a chance out of nothing and drag us of this mess- so maybe a loan move to a decent championship side would be good for him so he can get some play time and get some physicalitly in a very physical league (leaving him on the bench would be pointless and stunt his progression as it did with Cutrone) .
Either way we need solutions quickly (but Mir/ Campagna/ Cutrone won't be any better than Fabio)

Hi Staffordwwfc.
Agree Fabio nowhere near ready for the prem, so yes we definitely need an experienced striker that can come in and hit the ground running. Fabio will not be going anywhere on loan tho. That would again leave us with just one striker. Personally I think it was a massive gamble spending 35 mil on Fabio. I reckon 5 mil with add-ons and a sell on clause wood have been a fair price. He may eventually become a good player but a wonderkid he is not.

We are so boring. If we were getting the results, I wouldn't care, but every match, its a draw or a loss. Every match, we take off our offensive players and go very defensive. Nuno only has himself today for blame. taking off Fabio (who I'd have fancied for that Otasowie chance at the end) .
I mean, it BRIGHTON. and we're PARKING THE BUS, TAKING OFF 2 offensive players for a Centre back and a defensive midfielder (who for some reason is being played up front? ) .
Poor game management again from Nuno yes we have to trust him but this is happening far to often

I agree Stafford, as I said before it's not the results that are concerning me it's the umbitious performances! We never seem able to play two halves of positive footy, always one good half and one bad half! That's for a number of reasons but while everyone's throwing mud at players only a couple of mentioned Moutinho! He's our most experienced player and just cost us the match with what can only be called a school boy challenge! He needs replacing and with quality, will they do it?! I wait with baited breath 😭.

Agree bullysboy mouthino giving away the penalty that's what cost us the match.
It gave Brighton the edge seconds into the 2nd half.
What could nuno do about that?
Ait noria young and inexperienced had more than one chance to stop the cross for their first goal.
Neves and Traore both should of stopped the run for their equaliser.
If one of these mistakes didn't occur we would of won and would there be all this fan fare about nuno?
I agree with the subs we sit back but I haven't lost faith in nuno.
Football in the premier games are won lost drawn by small margins.
We didn't lose a draw is better than a loss but the win tonight was there for the taking.
I thought neves played a peach of a pass to Traore resulting into our penalty.
In hindsight I think ottasowie to start instead of vintinho would of been better.

I agree with Phil, although as it was Dunk that won the header Traore or Rayan shouldn't have been om him anyway as they would never be able to compete with that giant! I haven't lost faith in Nuno BUT I am starting to feel that if Fosun don't step up this window then (for me) you have to be questioning their true ambition. Cause you look at our team and we just don't have a squad, we have two thirds of a squad and some decent youngsters (at best)! What could Nuno do to actually change the game tonight?! When he's bringing on unproven CB/ CMs up front then you realise just how ham strung he currently is! I like Fabio but he should never be carrying the goal scoring burden at this stage, just bad planning sadly. For the first time tonight Nuno actually alluded to it. I hope we have something lined up cause it will be such a betrayal to what Nunos achieved if they don't support him in his hour of need! COYW 🐺.

Our lack of squad depth seems very concerning, especially tonight. no senior attackers on the bench, and there is only one attack on the bench (theo corbaeau) . seems like we need not only a striker in Jan but also a winger.

We must be the only club in the Prem with one senior striker in the squad and it’s costing us big time. I see Liverpool don’t want to loan out Origi and want £20 million for him, which is a fair price, why not sign him? 2 top strikers in the squad with Raul and time for Sila to develop? . Don't get me wrong- tactically today we have been brilliant; we've been really good.
BUT, Nuno's match control has once again let him down. once again, he has made defensive changes when they are not necessary. Once again, we look Far worse off for it. Once again, we look like we're going to lose because of it.
It wish that Nuno stopped doing this because it will and has all ready cost us so much. Itll cost us a Europa tour : (.
send out a message that we don't want to attack any more in the match and invites the opposition on to us, willing them on. Very annoying.
Not only that, but his subs have been terrible once again- taking off poor Fabio who has played quite well. You could see the look on his face and how disappointed he was. Would have been better if he took either neto or adama off imo.

Oh well, UTW.

Agree 100% staffordwwfc, exactly my post before the game. Its cost dearly in the past and if ruis slip had cost then we'd have been 2 points or more lighter. However the main thing i'd that rauel is ok and not severely hurt. And because of that ill let this performance by because we were playing and responded by playing so well. Great win, great to have points but as conner was saying the human body is far more important and it is not a cause for celebration for me tonight, may raul have a speedy recovery.

Yes agreed Stafford Arsenal were on the ropes and I thought that we would get a couple more in the second half if we kept the same formation. Of course Raul’s injury put everything into perspective and our prayers are with him. I thought everyone contributed though the jury is still out on Semedo. Podence’s goal was amazing and Neto was unplayable at times, great pace and awareness and a wicked shot. Again Adam’s proved he can be a match winner and Marcal was brill, if can stay fit the position is his. Many pluses tonight, only downside Raul’s injury 🤞.

First thoughts are with Raul and get well soon.
Stafford you are bang on. First 80 mins is the reason we support Wolves and was like the Wolves of old. Great stuff and even if it goes against us you can forgive them. When Nuno surrenders the initiative for no reason its a backward step. Thought Fabio Silva was one of the men of the match on basically his debut and am looking forward to seeing more of him. Could have taken the Donk off and left Fabio on. Credit to all the players. Boly still looks shaky and looks better on the left but Kilman is steady as a rock and deserves his place.
