I'm not even going to comment on the Chelsea game as while hoping for a different outcome the result was in truth, expected.

As many have eluded to there's something wrong with this club and our current squad, it's like they've either given up or are just not good enough. We all know what the elephant in the room is and the Cunha/Manu Silva situation personifies it. Consequently, I'm not even convinced that we will sign anyone else, for the here and now.

Personally, I think they've gone too far and relegation is looking more likely than not. The transfer policy is an unmitigated disaster and what's happening to the club akin to a Greek tragedy.

I used to think that VP will get the nose up a bit and we will survive but where are these points likely to come from as we can't beat the teams above us and we can't beat the teams around or below us.

I've been a Wolves fan since the great team of the late fifties, I've seen us nearly go out of business twice and drop to the old fourth division. I seen good owners and I've seen shocking owners but I've never seen an owner who potentially can afford to do this snatch defeat from the jaws of victory whilst destroying a high value asset that they've spent a fortune building. Cirque du Soleil is your circus business Fosun, not Wolves.

We need 6 wins in my opinion. I think 34-35 points will be enough this season. Obviously three wins needs to be Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton, and then we need to take 3 wins off anyone else. I don’t know who they would be but teams like west ham, palace, Everton, but those are not a given. Plenty of time left but if we do stay up this season by the skin of our teeth, then next season will be very hard as half of the team will be sold.

Totally agree with your sentiments Long. Like you, been a fan since the late 50s. My first match attended was 1959.
It has been a roller coaster, but the current situation with Fosun is just unfathomable. What do they want from Wolves?

I've not been one to heavily criticise our owners, but this is becoming painful and humiliating now. Whilst I do believe in becoming self sustainable it's relatively easy when you're a top club and not one in our position. How on earth can Shi keep his position unless Fosun don't care either. I honestly think we'll be relegated this year. It may be a blessing in disguise as we might get new owners, maybe some with ambition.
