Mario Lemina has apologised and Vitor Pereira seems to have accepted the apology, although the midfielder is still expected to depart this month. The head coach has urged Lemina to prove his apology with actions, not words.

Sorry Rated, but when you cross the line like that it's pretty unforgivable. If VP had been preparing the team against NUFC with Lemina in it and he then says he doesn't want to play! all VP's and the teams preparation is gone. How can you trust a player like that and what's to say he won't do the same against Chelsea. After the support Wolves gave him, sorry if it offends but either sell him (don't give him away) or let him sit at home with no contact with the first team or coach until his contract runs out. Harsh maybe but I bet like many on here if I'd have turned up for work and told my boss I didn't fancy doing anything today I know what he would have said.

Hey guys can I just remind people that Xmas as just past, Mario lost his father at Xmas time. Everybody carries a different emotional relationship and responsibility, not just to themselves but their family too. I would imagine it to have been a stressful time for lemina so in his honesty of not being mentally to play I think he was actually being mindful of not letting VP and the team down.
Of course some cynical folk would say he just wants to go and he's lost interest. We don't know that's VPs job to sort out, but he'll be welcomed back to the squad by me if he's in it Monday.

Very forgiving Abbey but the trouble is that Lemina has lots of previous and has been the proverbial bad penny at many of the clubs who have paid his wages.

Lemina deserves a second chance. He's a bloody good footballer and he's had the guts to admit he was wrong and apologised. Let's face it, we need bloody good footballers at the moment.

Abbey, loss affect us all in different ways but life goes on, what he has done is not exceptable he's lost faith and it's easier to try and leave than fight for your team and survival, rumours the Saudi league wants him for free so his head has been turned, it may not happen now so he has apologised

Don't disagree CB73, everybody's different tho and if you can't concentrate on the the job you're a liability. VPs problem to decide the outcome.
