All the top teams around Europe play 4-3-3. About time we followed suit and adhered to this philosophy if wanting to compete with the best. Keeper and front 3 are sorted in my opinion.

Not sure that's how it works Raging, what if Klopp and Pep had just followed suit, they wouldn't be half the managers they are! Also I would point out that Lec won the league with a 4-4-2 so not sure anymore proof is needed to show how well it CAN be done. Let's give Bruno the players and chance to play HIS way, then we can judge his ability properly! ?

Prior to 66 the top teams played 424 having transformed from 235, England played differently because it suited the players they had (no wingers). The top teams have the pick of the best players and can therefore pick the system they play. If they need to plug a gap they can fund a £50m player to play that way. IMO if we try 442 we need a massive turnover of a squad who have been purchased and trained for 343 352. The transition could be quite turbulent!

They both play 4-3-3 and did at Barcelona,Munich and Dortmund. As do PSG and Real Madrid. i'd be looking at getting the right personnel to fill these positions plus the subs.
Fair play on the Leicester reference though. As isolated as it was.

Do you think Bruno will be here next season Bully’s Boy.
It seems convenient that he contracted COVID after the Brighton match and no one has seen or heard of him since yet he is supposed to be picking the team.

More conspiracy theories then, why would they even need to do that?! Look at Watford, it's not like clubs need a reason/excuse to just sack their manager these days. And also if there's one word that shouldn't be used with Covid then it's convenient, cause nothing about it is convenient! What would you sooner have him do, give it to the rest of the squad so we have no players? If they choose to sack him at the end of the season then it is what it is. But considering they were saying that he was hoping for the all clear before tonight's game then I suspect he'll be back in the dugout for Lec.
In other news Rob Edwards to Watford was a bit left field but good on him. I always liked Edwards and he seemed to be well rated by us as a coach. Who knows maybe he'll find his way back to our dug out some day. Eitherway I hope he does well ?

Bully’s it is stated that Bruno was at the training ground communicating by telephone for the Chelsea game.
Why was he at the training ground (where players go to train)if he had COVID?
Was anyone else at the training ground at the time or was he alone?
Did he set the communication equipment up himself or did he have help?

E, he was probably at the training ground because he has an office there. He no longer has to self isolate at home but cannot come into contact with others meaning he can go into the office if he has Covid but showing no symptoms.

Thank you Jas M.
So we are to believe that Bruno was well enough to pick the team for the Chelsea and City games and communicate his instructions via phone from his office at the training ground without coming into contact with training ground staff but he couldn’t get a link to do the tv interviews after the game.
Would he have left the training ground ten minutes before the end of the City match to beat the traffic on the Compton Rd or waited till around 23.15 when the traffic had cleared to leave his office at the training ground.

He was/is/supposed to be Asymptomatic so he would certainly be fit and able to select teams and give instruction. As to training ground staff etc etc I would imagine social distancing, masks and hand sanitiser may have been in use. Don't know any traffic police in the west Midlands to suggest answers on Compton Rd EFW, But I do know its easy to conjure up theories. If it is proven to be a lie then as BB says cv is not an alibi and it will show a total disrespect and lack of sensitivity to those who have lost or suffered due to it and I cannot think that fosuns PR team could sink that low. I look forward to seeing him in the dug out on Sunday. As will Phil if he gets his calander/diary sorted.

Good answer Abbey but weren’t Nuno and Walter Zenga put on gardening leave prior to leaving the club and Paul Lambert never got to say his goodbyes.
After Brighton game there were rumours of a bust up but then we are led to believe the players are following instructions from Bruno via phone and no bust up after conceding 5 goals at home to the champions.

It does have a whiff to it EfW I grant you. But it really would be the bottom line to use cv, it'd be easy tacky and lazy aside from insulting cv affected. I do find it strange we havnt heard (to my knowledge) anything from Bruno, especially after the Chelsea comeback.

The thing is E that you still haven't answered my question, who would the lie be for? Cause they will have to tell the fans in a game or two anyway and if Brunos already knows then what's in it for him to play along? You seem to think that we are some sort of public sector service when we ain't! If Fosun want rid they can get rid and no one can say or do a thing about it cause its THEIR club! Also when was Nuno ever on gardening leave? He had his last game and an emotional send off, at no point was he awol? Like I said more nonsense conspiracies. I love how contradictory the nature of these conspiracies are as well. So last week we had someone tell us they'd heard from someone that was ACTUALLY there that a bust up happened and this week we have a secret that not a single person seems to ha e heard of (inudding the manager I might add). Which is it cause either we have a club SO leaky that coaches are chatting about bust ups with strangers or we have a club so shrouded in secret we've sacked our manager and nobody knows? Can't be both can it, either we know what's going on inside the dressing room or we don't (I'm pretty sure it's ALWAYS the later fyi). Must be Flat Eather season or something ?
