Typo sorry,

Start again,

There are 8 football clubs in the current Premier league who all have the same difference from the other 12 clubs.

I ask,

What is this difference?

Hi phil,
Could it be, that 8 clubs have never been relagated, since they have been in the premier league.
??

Tricky one Phil. I'll throw in a stab that 8 of the existing premier league teams have played over 1,000 premier league fixtures since the league began in 1992, whereas the other 12 have played less than 1,000 premier league games.

It's not that mate.

I'm just getting ready to knock off work and told my work colleagues the answer one of them said no one would ever get that.lol

Is it that I have visited 8 of the current Premier League grounds over the years, but not the other 12. That's actually true. ???

Last attempt from me - Is it that 8 teams don't play at their "original" grounds anymore. Man City (Main Rd), West Ham (Boleyn Ground), Arsenal (Highbury), Tottenham (White Hart Ln), Brighton (Withdean Arena?), Leicester (Filbert St), Southampton (The Dell), and Brentford (Griffin Park).

8 teams are still in the same location since the Premier League was formed whilst 12 have moved to new stadia locations (Spurs built a new stadium on the same site so didn't move technically)?

That was a good one Phil - thanks for sharing it with us. A fun bit of trivia is always good especially when there's not much else happening.

Thanks Arddunby - I really wasn't sure about that one. Looked it up and Withdean was their temporary ground but they were in it for about 12 years after they sold the Goldstone Ground.

Phil, Wigan's old ground was Springfield Park the new one the DW was built on Robin Park. That development destroyed a large area of junior football pitches that both my son's have played on a various times. Lot of protest at the time to no avail never to be replaced. I think they call it progress!
