I might be being a bit biased here but I honestly cannot think of a better English CB currently playing better than Max Kilman.

Jas he's been outstanding very much all season except perhaps in the games where they were all poor. His on field relationship with Semedo gets better and better. Today I thought they were excellent as a team.

Agreed Jas, he seems to have come on under Bruno, or Bruno is utilising his ability more. Either way, it’s only a good thing as he took a lot of flack last season.

Agree Jas semedo looks more and more quality along with Kilman.
Think podence is a cracking player when he has the ball also podence movement off the ball is quality.

Was it our first clean sheet this season?

Defensively only 4 sides have conceded fewer goals so far and Kilman has been a huge part of that and that's with Mosquero and Boly out, many posters on here were arguing that they were our best 2 defenders at the start of the season. I think TFIOG said in a previous post that the season was on a knife edge and could go either way, well today was a good step in the right direction. If we can maintain the defensive solidarity then the last 7 games of the first half will be critical, 13 points or close to it would be an excellent hall, up to 9 from Burnley, Brighton and Norwich and optimistically 4 from Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Liverpool would set us up nicely for the 2nd half of the season. However let's not get carried away things could easily go wrong with a few injuries and bad decisions against us.

Your not being biased Jas, he was superb today! He just looked in control the whole game and kept a very good WHU front line in his pocket! If only he could have 'futsoled' that goal he SO dererved in! Make no mistake if he was doing what he IS doing for a top four club then he would have been in the last Eng team! ?
