Rio Ferdinand impressed with Lage's plans for Wolves following a visit to Compton recently.
He mentioned the bumps in the road (eg Palace, Brentford, etc) and implied they were down to some of Nuno's style still to be removed as the players transition to his ways.
Upon reflection 8th at the moment and still with the 3rd best league form over 5 games, so not to bad, even so.
Given the eventual return of Neto/Jonny, surely Boly off the bench soon, hopefully a decent January window I'm sticking to my 5-7th prediction.

What if Jonny can't return?
Two serious knee injuries in such a short space of time doesn't bode well.If he does come back will he be able to get up and down the wing the way he used to?
For me, Boly has to come back in for saiss, he is a much better defender.

The indications are that he will bigcheese68, already back training so let's hope it's more permanent this time.
I agree on Boly, although Saiss has been playing well, he does have a mistake or dodgy tackle in him.
I think incomings in January will be limited, possibly Sanches and maybe 1 other, so let's hope it's a central defender.

Don't get me wrong, I hope that he does come back stronger, but after two bad injuries to the same knee it's prudent to say he won't be the same player as before.
More of a pressing concern is that some games there is absolutely no creativity in attack at all, nobody who seems to be able to drive the team on.A Paul Ince or Alex Rae nowadays in our current team would be a huge difference.

Tbh even when fit I can see RAN keeping Johnny out of the starting line up for quite a bit.

I tend to agree rated,RAN looks like he's going to be a good player as he progresses.
Semedo has also looked better this season, but I still think Boly should be playing ahead of Saiss and the midfield wants at least two new faces.
I can see Traore going to fund the splurge.
