In 1958 plans were unveiled to make Molineux into a 70,000 stadium but were rejected by the council.
In 2021 our owners are promoting our brand all over the world to attract new supporters.
Where are these new supporters going to sit?

I'm only 75 odd miles away and I havnt been to molineux since being back in the prem. I'm a club member and watched every game over the lockdown period by buying subscriptions to all providers. I've contributed to feed the pack and foundation. I've bought programmes and shirts and numerous gifts. This is money directly and indirectly to the club. I'm sure a world wide market would operate on a similar basis. Times have changed since 1958, we've got multiple TV channels, social media, all day pub opening and different work patterns. In 58 70000 would realistically of been packed by pay at the turnstile fans with no other distractions on a Saturday afternoon mostly travelling by bus or on foot. 50000 today would be incredible on a TV live, Monday night game, and reliant on opposition and division. Maybe the money isn't so much in the crowd size now but the merchandise bought around the world and nation. I sit here wondering when I'll next be at the mol, and glance at my reopening honved programme from 1993 thinking then that it couldn't get better. That's life, but as soon as the away shirt becomes available my money will be in the clubs till. (As long as it bears no likeness to that blue cliudy monstrosity last year! ) .

I've got dodgy back Ed. And osteoarthritis in knees, just had an xray this week and am awaiting results. Can walk that far and don't drive so its accessing trains and getting to and from both ends. Some days good some times bad. Sitting for a half can be painful so I'll have to weigh everything up.

{Ed077's Note - I hope you start feeling better soon.
Excited for the season ahead??}

Cheers Ed. It's nothing compared to others, just a chore to deal with. Yes I am excited about things although I'm abit impatient with the movements/ rumours at the mo. I think one big outgoing will spark things, I hope so because seeing/ hearing brunos ideas, speeding things up, fluidity in formation etc really makes me think we can surprise one or two. I think we're a little light experience wise, (boly moutininho seiss maybe a bit slow for what he wants) so decent recruits if we can afford them essential. It'll be a slow start and then we'll competing the top 6-7 again. I hope.! .

{Ed077's Note - I like your optimism. Long may it continue}

It always does Ed. After 60 odd years following the old gold I've had to, season after season. A win over anyone is celebrated, my most notable league victory was the 5-1 over then champions Arsenal at home back in the 70s, that was optimism paying off.

{Ed077's Note - I hope you beat Arsenal 5-1 every season lol :-D}
