Don't rate Hwang as much as Wolves do, get 25 mill. and I think a real good deal.

Problem is, he is a GOOD footballer buts BRILLIANT marketing asset.

Put him down all you like, he scores goals. When healthy.

I rate Hwang in this GON team, if it had of been Bruno Lage's team I'd say take the money.

Hwang has hardly ever put in a bad performance. While he was injured he was certainly missed. Who would we buy for £20 million that would be as good?

He is a class finisher. One of the best we have. He needs to stay unless it’s stupid money.

He puts in a fair few poor performances goggs but knows where the net is and that's a very valuable and important asset.

I've not always been Hwangs biggest fan but those saying they would drive him there need to take a long look at the goals spread in our team! In all comps Cunha first with 14 and Hwang second with 13, the guy scored almost a quarter of our Prem league goals! While your looking at that Prem league scorers chart also just ask yourself how many of those names on there (even those below Hwang) could we realistically sign for £30m?! Thank goodness the club are paying more attention than some of the fans, if we sell those goals aren't going to be easy or cheap to replace. Cunha scored one more goal than him and is now looking like a steal at £43m! Goal scorers (generally) ain't cheap and neither should ours be! COYW ?

If it wasnt for the asia cup and then injury he'd have scored 20prem goals last ssn making him worth 50mil

BB- snap!
Cunha had 19 premier league goal contributions but only played 70% of the time.
Hwang 15 in 60% and Neto 13 in 40%. If, and I accept it is a big if, all 3 had been fit/available all year where would we have ended up? Far higher than we did! So why break up what is obviously a v good thing, (surely better to supplement it - as we have with Larsen and Gomes {R})? Particularly for pennies, cf the prices other teams demand/achieve for their players, (look at the number of totally unproven premier league players moving for double digit millions already this summer and the suggested levels others like Arsenal are seeking for their reserves!)
Note how much money you lose if you get relegated and spend a mere season out of the Prem.
The risk of selling your better players surely isn't worth it?

Correct as always Old and TFG old buddies ? I am starting to get the impression that one or two fans on here REALLY don't seem to get how precariously balanced the goals in this sqaud are?! We really aren't in a strong position to let any of our best attacking players go. For example if we lost Neto and Hwang (as some are suggesting) then we've lost half our goals with no guaranteed way to replace them?! As I keep saying one or two really need to recalibrate and be careful what they are wishing for! A pleasure to see ya on here as always TFG fella, ??

Apart from Channy’s goals, I reckon the one big reason he won’t be sold, is where he comes from- Korea. That market, Asia, is one that Fosun have been doing a hell of a lot to promote the club, the Wolves image, the ‘one pack’ idea. Have you seen the queue of Korean/Asian fans, standing in line outside the South Bank after every game, just waiting for Channy to come out to see them, speak to them, sign autographs and have photos taken. He is a marketing dream for Fosun.
