Seen a few rumours Wolves are going back in for Vitinha, imo we should of bought him in the first place as his value has most likely risen now.

Can't see how it's risen. Out of the 16 games Porto have played, he's started 4 and not been very good apparently.

Not convinced rather have Sanches if he can continue to prove his fitness. We need players who can do it not just potential IMO.

Well according to Transfer market - a site that places values on players - his value has increased.
However it is from €5m (when he signed on loan for Wolves) to €7m now.
Whilst of course their valuation is no more relevant than mine or anyone else's, (His value is what someone is willing to pay), it does shine quite a negative light on the £20m that Wolves were apparently considering paying last year.

Perhaps this is why Wolves decided to wait? Rather than pay the £18million, they felt it'd be worth trying at a later day again at a lower fee?

Maybe.
But not sure he is first team quality and we don't just need bodies but bodies of first team quality. I fear he would merely be a back up or one for the future and whilst I have no objection to buying promise - Yerson was presumably bought as one for the future - we need people who can deliver now - plus he is not really young any
more? .
The cold reality is we only have 3 senior CMs and one, Moutinho needs his minutes managed and shouldn't be playing every week. The 2nd Dendonker is "limited" (he does lots of things v well but for me is not a first 11 player in a 2) that means we are an injury to Neves away from a crisis.
This needs resolving ( has needed resolving for several transfer windows now - we haven't bought a CM who has cut the mustard since Dendonker in the summer of 2019) this Jan and in my view Vitor isn't the answer.

Agree. Vitahna not the answer but Renato Sanchez and Palhina is the answer!
Mo e to a back four still allow wing backs to get on the front foot. Play three in midfield with two new signings plus Neves. Sell Dendonker and allow Mo7thino to return to a Portuguese side. Solid midfield in place with opportunities s for academy players to get substitute minutes. Mix and match front players as we dio have an array of talent in forward positions . We just haven’t hit on the system to deliver on the potential
Top 6? Why not!

Getting shot of two midfielders for just two replacements doesn't make much sense to me, wolfwhistle and, don't forget that you need to factor in injuries, suspensions etc. For me, Moutinho still has at least 2 top flight years in him - he's still a regular starter for Portugal for goodness sake- and hardly ever succumbs to injuries. He just needs some quality support.

Moutinho is a difficult decision. His bal, retention is something else but his play is passive and doesn’t ask questions of the opposition. His dead ball delivery is poor and I struggle to see why he is allowed to take so many dead ball situations. I scream at the tv or the pitch if attending a home game, when Dendonker forgoes the opportunity to attack the spaces in front of him, in order to turn 180degrees in order to play the ball back to Coady. That was Nuno’s style and one I had hoped we had left behind.
Genuinely don’t believe that we have the midfielders we need to move to the next stage of our development. I would swap two for two, if we brought in more progressive players.
