Nino is a top manager and has done fantastic to get us in this position. To progress further we need a top top manager.

Definitely not a fan.

2.) 05 Jul 2020

We already have one. 😏.

Behave yourself E from Wombourn, this gave me a chuckle. They putting something in the water up your way.
We have a top top manager. Anyone who knows football will tell you the same.

Yesterday was just one of those games it doesn't come off some days.

4.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 11:55:59
Does Nuno have what it takes to change things tactically when games like yesterday crop up?

5.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 12:12:05
Nuno is fantastic only fault is his reluctance to use subs but he is also learning and I believe he will take us to the very top.

6.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 13:32:23
SQ - who would you get in that's tactically better?! Cause from where I'm sitting there's only two managers that are markedly better and they aren't leaving City or Liverpool! So c'mon peeps if your saying let's get someone better then give us names?! Cause from where I'm sat I don't think there are many better managers out there that would come to us!

In fact from where I'm sitting we are already punching well above our weight having Nuno in, which is precisely why he regularly gets tied with top four jobs! United have spent a decade chucking wages at well known names and STILL haven't been able to find a manager that has delivered the kind of progress Nuno has during his short time here! But hey United are only the largest club in the world so I'm sure we should find it easy! So c'mon let's have names?!
Honestly sanity REALLY does leave the building on this forum sometimes, get a grip people! 🤣.

We have hit the jackpot with Nuno that comment has to be a wind up he’s been manager of the club almost 3 years
Won the championship got us in Europe which were still in and is more likely than not going to do it again I wouldn’t take another manager no matter who was in the frame.

8.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 15:17:34
Nice one Bully. The Mail and Telegraph on Saturday had big features on what Nuno has achieved at Wolves. He is recognised by many as one of the best in the Prem. He is linked to top clubs, you don't become a bad manager with one bad game.

9.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 15:37:19
Nuno is the modern day version of Major Frank Buckley and Stan Cullis. I wouldn't swap him for anyone. Mistakes happen. Sometimes we have an off day.

10.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 17:58:50
Got to stick with Nuno look we are 6th in the prem three years ago we were average Championship side we will probably finish on over 60 points none of this perpetual avoiding relegation stuff we are used to

The problem will be if a top club snaps him up or even Portugal national team then what do we do sign Steve Bruce or Roy Hodgson?

11.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 18:08:10
No sign of sq while we weren't losing and then lo and behold, lose a game and it's a Mr Negativity come back. Give your head a wobble, we had a bad day, we have the best coaching team for the job.

12.) 05 Jul 2020
05 Jul 2020 21:03:18
I asked a question that's all. Either offer an answer to the question but cut the personal attacks.

13.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 08:33:33
I understand what your sayin SQ, and yes I think u have a point, he’s done a great job at the moment and made us a solid top half Prem team. But has he reached his peak? That’s the question and the jury is still out.

14.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 10:41:40
SQ - there were no personal attacks from me, I asked a question that's all so offer an answer? Who would you want to see bought in?

15.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 10:43:53
I asked a question as well, so c'mon guys let's have a name?! Who is this mythical unicorn of a manager that is some kind of Jurgen Guardiola? I'm guessing they are just waiting to take on a recently promoted team, who's only cup win in recent times is the LDV Van Trophy?!

16.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 12:29:06
Bullysboy, it would all depend on the quality of player we brought in? Balls in Fosun’s court as to what type of investment their going to invest and the level they want us to achieve? If their content with where we are now then Nuno will do, if they want a regular top 4 then investment levels need to increase and we need a coach who isn’t one dimensional.

{Ed002's Note - Wolves need to comply with FFP which limits the monies that the owners can put in to the club.}

17.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 14:16:52
Paul I get what your saying in so much as bigger budgets entice bigger managers etc. But your still missing the point, give us a name?! Cause its all too easy to pick holes and say we want a magic manager that never loses but I'm still yet to hear who this is?

The point you both seem to be missing is that if finding a manager better than Nuno was that easy then why do the biggest of clubs consistently struggle to do it? there's a reason United and Chelsea have taken a gamble on old boys and it's because there's just not that many Klopps or Pepes out there! It's fine to have high expectations I just think it's better if those expectations are kept based within reality is all! 😬.

18.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 15:04:20
Wolves have lost to Arsenal and now 'get rid of Nuno"? He's the best manager Wolves have had in decades. Championship.

19.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 15:22:43
I can’t give u a name as Fosun haven’t given a budget, nor how far their willin to bank roll us? They may be happy getting young players for 15/ 20 mil, who are capable of keepin us top half of prem for a couple of years then sellin them for 40/ 50 mil? Or are they willin to compete for top four? I’m not sure what their ambitions are for us, or whether they just want to keep turnin over a profit as their a conglomerate.

20.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 16:04:59
Fosun are looking to do exactly what FSG have done at Liverpool, namely streamline the management structure and put a structure in place to grow the brand both at home and abroad. They aim to make us one of the biggest and best in the world but they realise that FFP dictates how much we can spend, hence why they are branching out by enhancing our name in China and buying the likes of Raul Jimenez so that our name is promoted further afield and growing our support and ultimately income. I know most fans want instant success but Fosun have big plans which will take time so let's just be patient.

As for Nuno and who should replace him, the answer is No one as he is the man to take us to greatness, just like Bill Shankly did for Liverpool all them years ago.

21.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 16:24:06
U know the Chinese owner and Fosun Jas? Your just speculating what will happen and what all Wolves fans want. Only Fosun know for sure what direction they will take and the money they’ll put in.

22.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 17:14:44
Paul, haha, I do wish you and SQ would stop answering my original question with other questions! It's a purely hypothetical question anyway so I'm a little confused why you need a hypothetical budget to go with it but I'll play the game!

So assume you have a huge budget Paul, think City a decade back. Now off you go and give me the name or names of these tactical genuieses that you want to see interviewed for the job?

Now maybe you can explain to me why United, with more disposal budget than virtually ANY club in the world, have not managed to find these tactical gurus yet?! Everyone wants to find the next Klopp or a Pepe but that's just unrealistic!

If someone came on here and said 'well let's just sign Messi' they'd get ridiculed! Yet every now and again when we rarely lose peeps come on here and say the equivalent for managers, like I said sanity leaves the building at times on these pages! 🤣.

23.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 17:22:08
PT, it was on the Walking with Wolves documentary. Plus I also know someone who works at the club.

24.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 17:23:53
I also know that Fosun looked at at least 20 English clubs before deciding on us due to the potential, location and marketability.

25.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 17:58:15
And before you ask PT, the person I know is not high up the management chain at Molineux. He is a coach working with the U18's and was brought in by Fosun just after the 1st season under Zenga and Lambert. Jeff Shi gets all the coaches of all the age groups together once a month and discusses Fosuns vision and how the club is doing. He is the one who told me of the plans.

26.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 18:53:30
Let’s wait and see, were a solid Prem side and it’s nice not talkin relegation battles👍 But we’re along way off bein a regular top 6 or top 4 side. We’ve only won 13 games, that’s not going to get top 4. We’re set up not to lose as 13 draws show, were definitely one dimensional.

27.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 20:26:51
Patience is required PT. It took Shankley, Cullis and Ferguson a few years to build their squad.

28.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 21:07:41
On a side note I also find it hilarious when peeps talk about football clubs making a profit like its a dirty word! You don't find that IN ANY other business, why I wonder?! And why then do you think FSG bought Liverpool, not to make a profit?! Just because they are big fans is it, behave! I just don't understand why a club making profit is seen as a bad thing?

29.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 21:54:00
Who said anything about makin a profit bein bad?

30.) 06 Jul 2020
06 Jul 2020 22:00:17
Name me a club in the last 10 years that have gone up from the champ and and done as well as we have in the last 2 seasons anyone expecting more should be realistic 5 years ago we had only just come out of league 1 I can’t believe the moaning if we won the prem some rain cloud would proclaim yes but it’s not the champions league we’re competing against every team where we can turn up on a match day and know we can beat anyone in front of us as for another manager be careful what you wish for I know let’s get pelligrini he was brilliant at West Ham or let’s have Mourinho spurs are so exciting to watch come stop this rubbish just because we had an off day against arsenal it’s not like we lost to Norwich.

31.) 07 Jul 2020
07 Jul 2020 08:06:52
Agree B u a w s.
I want to say the money west ham and everton have spent the last few seasons and we with our owners and management/ coaching team, have and are doing much better in the league.
My point is you can spend big on players and top managers but it does not necessarily bring you success.
The only reason for this feed is that we played not good and lost at home to arsenal. I wish there was more posts when we play good and win than visa versa but hey I realise now that's how it is and always has been and always will be.

32.) 07 Jul 2020
07 Jul 2020 12:37:35
Usual PT seasonal pop at the manager I see.
PT patience mate we are a top 6 side our position is showing that, we've lost 1 match since returning and let's be real the Gunners have always been tricky for us, we move on to tomorrow.
The loss might of been the kick up the backside that was needed to wake the team up.
Remember just a few years ago we was league 1.

33.) 07 Jul 2020
07 Jul 2020 17:36:23
And still I'm yet to hear a single suggestions for who to bring in?! Its hard to see the negative comments as anything other than post match venting when you can't even back them up with a suggestion?! Its hilarious how quick one or two are to say we need someone tactically better but when you ask a simple question like 'who then? ' all you get is silence ;-)

34.) 07 Jul 2020
07 Jul 2020 18:40:26
I never ever comment on this page but like to come and look what is been discussed every now and then. But after seeing all the shocking comments from Paul Tamworth it made me want to comment. So 3 years after been a mid championship side and now a 2 nd season in premiership. We have finished 7th, semi finals of FA Cup, sitting in 6 th with 5 games of season to go. Only Liverpool have lost less league games this season. Then you get some clown saying players are mediocre and Nuno can’t take is further. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion, but to keep on going on like he is is helping exactly what way? I’d understand negativity if we were in Villas position especially after spending so much money, but seriously look where we are.
