Fabio Silva transfer almost complete. Circumstances meant that he was thrust into action at Wolves way before he was ready.

I hoped he would make it here but the fans were unforgiving. I think he'll be a massive success at Dortmund and those very fans who were calling for him to leave will very suddenly ask questions about why the club allowed him to go.

Wandering the injury to Jiminez put Silva in a position he should never have been in not his fault. That was the problem of only having 1 striker he going to a club that are renowned for bringing players on good luck to him.

Why it is/ was best league in the world wandering star, so much pressure these days to hit the ground running especially with the price tag, but he was just too young when rauls injury happened and had to be thrust in with little experience and big expectations. I always felt bad for him because he’s always had so much pressure but hasn’t delivered, however I do think selling him is the correct decision as there are better players for 20 million.

Agreed. Fabio is a fantastic player, just too early for a prem move for him, will surely succeed in an attack-minded bundesliga. I think a sell-on clause should be inserted given Dortmund's reputation.

I remember him jumping to head the ball and being on the way down before it got near him.

I actually do think he'll be a success at Dortmund (they know their young players) and will likely go on to have a good career. However, I'm just not convinced he would have ever cut it in the Prem. Like Diego Forlan who did well in most leagues but just wasn't up to the pace/power of the Prem, think it'll be the same with Fabio to be honest. What I will give the club credit for is the money they recouped, never thought we'd get that much back on him ?
