Any one got a half accurate roumers on a striker. I would have thought that would of been our primary objective. I would have thought we had more ambition than the current two we've signed. someone like Iago Aspas?

{Ed001's Note - Iago Aspas would not have any interest in moving to Wolves. He never wanted to leave Spain to go to Liverpool, but was persuaded to by the club being desperate for funds. Now he is happy playing for the club he supports with them no longer needing to sell him to survive, why would he leave to go back to a country he was unable to settle in?}

I don't think they will bring in another forward. Now they have signed Leo and then Mexican.

I think it depends who’s available as it’s seems we need someone with a bit more pace as Jimenez and bonatini seem very similar to me.

Ed was merely using Aspas as and example. the two we've signed are too alike and are not going to get behind the defence. Need a striker with pace. I wouldn't mind Andre Gray - Local lad. with some re experience was good before got injured feel just needs a run of games. Use also be tempted to bring in crouch as an impact sub.

{Ed001's Note - ok mate.}

One life you’re knocking them before they’ve even kicked a ball in the premier! How much more pace do you want with cav, Jota costa?!
They’re to link up play not smash it route one and hope for them to get on the end of it!
Nuno knows.

Thank you Manc_WOLF! "Nuno knows" is what we all need to remember. He knows what the team needs, wants and is working on recruiting far more than we do. Speculating as to what we get is a bit of fun. Whinging when we, as fans, don't know the full picture isn't fun for anyone.

Yes it is but they only started I believe 9 games together which in those time they started Jota scored 7 in those 9 while costa and Cav only scored 2 and 1 and against Ipswich none of the scores which tells you a lot really tells you that our chance conversion ratio ain’t that high when they play we scored 20 goals in those games they started which the scored 10 and others scored 10 which 7 of this 10 from when jota Cav and costa played together from the start came from Jota which tells you that Cav other 8 goals came when started with and out and striker and jotas other 11 came when he started with an out and out striker which tells you we score more goals with an out and out striker.

I got slated for saying the same manc Wolf. In fact I got called a baggies fan by some simple minded arm chair fan who thinks he knows more than Nuno. In Nuno I trust.

You can get away with having a few strikers in the championship but in the Prem you need strength in numbers. if either of them two strikers get injured it leaves us short. All good saying we've got cab Costa Jota. they are all Attacking midfielders. just need a number 9 who knows where the back of the net is as another option.

Liverpool seem to have done ok without an out and out striker, I know they’re different players but same system. Even Man City didn’t bother at times. If players get injured that’s part of the game maybe an academy youngster will get the chance to shine.
Suppose only time will tell and hopefully the people who wanted them to spend millions on wasters are all proved wrong.

That's a completely different ball game. As both teams have proven world beaters. Plus Aguero was their top scorer. I can only assume that theirs work for a striker going on behind the scenes. Here's hoping anyways.

I love to read optimistic posts instead of the negative ones. Last year people was saying we could finish top half with our team now they are saying we won’t stay up. Not even kicked off and there is doubters.

08 Jul 2018 20:52:44
Pretty sure it’s the same ball game one life ⚽️.

It’s a shame that fans can’t express a different opinion from you and then are considered negative. I expressed an opinion in relation to the signing of Bonatini, basest on facts. It is only a few weeks ago that both Don Goodman and Stevie Bull were saying that Afobe should be given a chance in the Premier League. I suppose you will call them arm chair supporters as well, because they didn’t agree with Nuno! I have been a Wolves fan for 45 years and have seen more tears than cheers. I love what Nuno has done and am proud to have him as our manager but football is about opinions and how many people on this site were actually saying buy Bonatini before his signing was announced, we all thought they were looking elsewhere! I.

Negative opinions before a ball is kicked in fact before the plane left for pre season then say you have been a fan for 45 years. In those 45 years it has never been this good so all I’m asking is enjoy the ride I’m scared to think what you think about our national team at the moment I bet it’s not good.

Rich, heaven help whoever lives with you if they don’t agree with you. I suppose they are negative as well!
