Fully expect Afobe to sign on loan with an option to buy. I hope he comes with a better attitude than when he left, but he is a proven striker at this leval so let's give him a chance.

Agree1 Disagree1

not the player I would have back, his attitude is still the same that's why eddie howe wants him gone. thanks but no thanks.

29 Jan 2018 12:21:27
Apparently Bournemouth aren’t keen on a loan deal and want cash.

29 Jan 2018 12:32:11
Get him in! 20 odd goals for us in the season he played, he will get chance after chance with the players we've got now! It's a no brainier for me and it will definitely assure us promotion! 👍 Eddie Howe comes across as a smarmy git who is up his own arse! One of them guys who's got a face u want to punch!

29 Jan 2018 12:43:18
Question is can he reproduce his past form for us?
I personally don't want him back but if he does return and gets his head down and the goals to get us up then I guess he'd be forgiven by me and by many for his past behaviour.

29 Jan 2018 13:14:11
Think we only want loan Bournemouth want a sell
I think there maybe a few teams in for him
For me a no brained get him in he will score goals and see what happens in the summer it's win win on loan.

IMO I think he would be the perfect signing for this team, especially when teams press us high he would have plenty of space in behind for Neves etc to pick him out. He hasn’t done it at Bournemouth but I put that down to a lack of creativity in their midfield and not his lack of ability. As for his so called attitude problem last time he was here I don’t agree. He had lost his wingman in Sako, they broke their promise to replace him and he could see we were not going up any time soon under Morgan etc. He had Premier League ambitions so it was the right move at the tim. As for his performances on the pitch yes he is a professional but he is also human. He was being played in a number 10 and not up too where he is best and i’m Pretty sure people on here have days when they don’t think a change in work location is needed. Make it happen Jeff! A massive yes from me!

Put it another way if he comes he knows he has to produce he's in last chance saloon of making it in the big time with a big club in waiting
It's down hill otherwise.

29 Jan 2018 14:23:31
I hoped for someone better than Afobe, but he's a good enough player and the team he'll be returning to is very different from the one he left. Hard to see him keeping Leo out of the side but if Costa or Cav need to be dropped then I see him as sub for Leo, who would presumably start if that happened.

29 Jan 2018 14:25:23
I don't blame him for wanting to leave but he was being paid thousands per week to do his job and his sulking around the pitch was completely unprofessional. If you want a move surely you bust a gut to earn one not spit your dummy out. Yes promises were broken but he behaved appallingly instead of getting on with it in until he could go. No Thanks! COYW.

29 Jan 2018 14:29:45
He's already split us fans so God knows what he would do to the dressing room! COYW.

People disagreeing about Afobe, don't CUT YOUR NOSE OFF TO SPITE YOUR FACE? His signin would 100% cement our Promotion 👍.

29 Jan 2018 14:47:43
Afobe for me, no thanks. As for 100% promotion PT, there's only one thing in life guaranteed.
If there were certainties there wouldn't be bookmakers.

29 Jan 2018 14:56:33
Can’t see all the big deal about afobe coming back to us wat have we got to lose? He’s the one who’s got somthing to prove the team we have he will get goals get us over the finishing line win win for us both we get the goals and cover to Finish the season he gets to showcase his skills for another team give the lad another crack at the mol.

29 Jan 2018 15:25:53
Afode has a point to prove feel he's not been given that chance since his move to Bournemouth, so if he comes get behind him and watch him banging those goals in.

29 Jan 2018 15:40:07
Its a big fat YES from me. Nuno is the key here, he will get the best out of him for sure. He'll score for fun in this team.

29 Jan 2018 16:03:47
Two things guaranteed wolfie22? Death and taxes!

29 Jan 2018 17:42:58
You don't pay yours, do you PT?

29 Jan 2018 18:25:08
Every penny of them wolfie22. Ask no questions tell no lies lol.

29 Jan 2018 19:05:43
Yes mate, I believe you.
My lips are sealed.

Of course, I'll support Afobe if he comes but he wouldn't be my choice. Can't see anyone here who could take us to the next level.
Either Nuno is happy to go with what we've got OR Uncle Jorge has another ace up his sleeve.

29 Jan 2018 19:17:37
I'm all for Afobe on loan with option to buy. Probably the best striker we've had since Keane and Bull.

What do we want. instant impact

Afobe knows the Championship, knows the surroundings and has something to prove. Literally could sign him now and start him against Sheffield United this weekend and the teams stronger. Chips in with 5-10 goals and we're laughing.

I also believe Nunos style suits Afobe with the interchanging front 3.

If not Afobe, get Grabben. Promotion awaits.

I'd rather go for Ben Brereton from Forest, can see him going far. Worth a punt I reckon.
